Buffalo, NY
A small, Episcopal parish on the corner of Jewett and summit. The narthex is small, but oh what magnificent stained glass windows. This would be considered very low church, with resources from all over the world, not just the BCP. Eight o clock services are geared more toward families with young children, and there is a Sunday school for the little one. The 10 o’clock service is Rite 2, and is more geared toward adults. The choir is lovely, as is the organist. A short coffee hour follows to 10 o’clock service. The congregation is welcoming without being cloying.
The priest was absent on the sunday I attended, so the Deacon gave the homily.
