Expanded to include a coffee shop with a cute area to sit. All sorts of coffees available. Listed on the wall with prices. I can’t comment on the prices as I’m a «regular coffee» drinker, and don’t know what prices are reasonable for cappuccinos and espressos etc. The chocolates remain terrific. Fun flavors and choices. Handmade. I like this place. I don’t come often, but Im always happy when I pass by and he’s open.

A nice little chocolate shop with home made chocolates and hot drinks for the freezing cold temperatures. Nice to visit for a little desert or snack to satisfy your sweet tooth.

This Chocolate is to die for. I’ve only tried the salted caramel chocolate but had I eaten it inside the store and not taken it home, I would’ve bought everything in sight. Little pricey for a tiny piece though($ 2 each) only downfall but it’s all handcrafted and very prettily decorated so it’s worth it. Sometimes too pretty you may not want to eat it and just stare at how nice it looks. There are also hot and cold handcrafted beverages as well as ice cream. I have yet to try ice cream(if it wasn’t below 0 degrees outside it sure felt like it). But the flavors look delicious so I will definitely have to come back on a warmer day! I got the honey vanilla coffee and a white chocolate peppermint mocha. Both incredible and rich in flavor. Nothing artificial about them. The owner is very nice and helpful when deciding on your order and also very dedicated to his business. I will be back to show further support for this great local company and if you’re a chocolate or coffee lover definitely try it out !

I have been walking past Chow Chocolat’s new location on Hertel Ave everyday with my pup and dying to stop in. Today, I finally decided to make a point to try it out. I tried six of their pieces and they are some of the most delicious chocolates i’ve ever tried. In addition to their wonderful candies, beautiful art is on display for purchase. I just loved it here!

Chow Chocolate is just everything a custom chocolate shop should be. And hand made espresso to boot.

The flavors at Chow Chocolat exceed my expectations every time. Today I tried one of their flavored hot chocolates, I got the Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate and it put Starbucks to shame. Rich, but balanced with cream, chocolatey but not overwhelming, luxurious. I paired it with a gingerbread chocolate that had layers of flavor and was spot-on.

I visited Chow’s new location at the Horse-feather downtown and saw that it was a lot smaller than their old Elmwood and main st locations! But I will say in this case size didn’t matter! It’s still the same delicious and decadent chocolate/coffee house as I had come to love. Bön bons, their house coffee, and famous salted caramel sauce were all there. It’s nice to see high end pastry in Buffalo. You don’t see much of this In buffalo and it’s a shame.

Chow Chocolat is now a permanent resident of Horsefeathers Market & Residences! This is great news for those who have been missing Chow since the shop closed it’s Elmwood location a year ago. This was my first Chow Chocolat experience and my taste buds were super impressed. I had a salted caramel hot chocolate. It was wonderful. Not too sweet, just rich in chocolate. I haven’t experienced a hot chocolate like that outside of Europe. The owner/chocolatier spoke very enthusiastically about his offerings and he was clearly excited to be joining Horsefeathers. He then asked me if I’ve ever tried one of his chocolates(I hadn’t) and offered me a lovely piece of artisan chocolate. It was a pleasant surprise. FANTASTIC. It is obvious that lots of care, pride and fine ingredients go in to creation of Chow Chocolat’s products. I’m giving a 5-star rating based on taste and my impression of the owner. This was his first day in this new location and it was apparent that he was not fully settled in. The selection was somewhat minimal. I am looking forward to coming back in a couple weeks to see the shop in full swing.
