This terrible business buried my friend’s father without her family there and without notifying them. The then accused her of making it «all about the money» when she asked for a partial refund of the costs. This despite the fact they conceded it was their error. They were too devastated to fight it at the time, weeks later they mailed a handful of $ 25 restaurant gift certificates to her mother. They were quite flippant about it. She mailed them back. They have no business being in this business.

Buried my friend’s father at the wrong time, without any of her family there. The manager refused to apologize when my friend and her mother told them how devastated they were, didn’t seem to understand what the «big deal» was, and then accused them of being cheapskates when they asked for a partial refund. A few weeks later, her mom gets a few $ 25 gift certificates to local restaurants from them. She sent them back. Awful, terrible business.

These people are awful. AVOID at all costs!

They interned my father without alerting the rest of the family. He was literally buried alone, with nobody to attend. To make up for it, they offered my mother 5 $ 25 gift cards to local restaurants… because that makes up for it! Then accused the family of making it «all about money» when it was brought to their attention that they violated the terms of the contract.
Total unprofessional jerks.

Very expensive– shop around.

OK, weird to be a «fan» of a funeral home.
But I am. Ive been to far too many wakes/​funerals etc this year. As a result ive spent time in many places I don’t go often. This is one of them. Located on Delaware in a stately mansion this location has multiple rooms to accommodate different gatherings.
The rooms are nicely done, have a number of couches and chairs, allow for plenty of room for flowers and pictures and are generally well laid out.
The Amigone employees are terrific. They are courteous but reserved. They answer questions as needed but don’t get in the way. They will even take message for people there if needed.
The parking lot often has an attendant or two if its crowded, which is pretty useful. Its also big and can accommodate many cars if needed.
