Advanced Sewer Clng

I had a leak in my tenant’s apartment so I called Advanced because they had previously done good work, cheap for me.
Scheduling was easy enough. Someone would be by in a couple of days. Not ideal, but again: good work, cheap.
«Should I tear down the ceiling so they can get a better look?»
«No need, they should be able to determine the issue.»
I was quoted a time and was happy about it since I had other business later in the day, but after calling earlier to confirm the appointment, they were running behind. I can understand that. No problem except my tenant would have to be the intermediary. I trust her, so it didn’t seem like a big deal. «Don’t worry, someone will call you tomorrow to determine the issue and give you a quote.»
I asked my tenant what the service guy did while he was there. «Nothing. He looked at the hole and then left. If he was here 2 minutes it would have been a stretch.»
Next day comes and goes. I call two days after the service and it must have been a chore for the guy on the other end of the line to pick up the phone and deal with a customer that day.
«Yeah, there’s a leak.»
«Yes, I know. What’s the problem.»
«We’ll have to send someone out to fix it. We don’t know why because the ceiling was closed up.»
«Yeah, that’s why I offered to open it up. When can they come by?»
«It won’t be until at least after Labor Day. The 8^th looks like the first available date.»
«Yeah, let me check with my tenant…»
Anyhow, the ceiling collapsed due to the moisture that evening. I called a competitor and they were apologetic that they couldn’t get someone there that night. I got a call from the competitor the next morning at 730a and it was fixed by 1030a.
Yeah, I’m done with Advanced. I can’t give them one star because they at least picked up the phone. I’m going to go write a review about stellar customer service and work done for the competitor now.

Great company. I have used them a few times. Basically all sewer cleaners are alike in terms of what they charge but this company goes the extra mile. They cleaned the drain and if they come back next year it will be ½ price since it won’t be so clogged. Not flashy and they don’t advertise a lot but a solid honest choice.

I’d been struggling to clear my drain using plungers and well known chemical drain cleaners but to no avail… but Advanced Sewer came in and in under an hour the guy cleared my pipes, professional & friendly.

After moving to our new house we learned that the previous owners left us with a sink drain that was 99% clogged and we pushed it over the edge and completely clogged it up. Having family coming tomorrow it was not an option to not have a dishwasher and a sink functioning. The more visible plumbers (i.e Hertel Plumbing) would not be able to fit us in today. Luckily we found Advanced Sewers. The lady answering the phone was polite and assured us that we could get our sink fixed same day and would give us a call when they were coming.
I was out running errands when they we available and I rushed home to find the plumber waiting in his truck, kinda surprised he didn’t bail. He checked out the sink and quickly diagnosed the problem and went to work. After getting access to the horizontal run of the drain he found it was packed full of food (damn garbage disposal). He snaked it completely clean and had it wrapped up in no time. He was polite and looked like he knew exactly was he was doing (I’d have no idea either way though). It was a no-​frills snake job and Advanced Plumbed rocked it. Price was very reasonable (120 $) and offer a 90day warranty if you plug it up again. A+++
