Purchased groupon for pedicure for 2. Got it for myself & Denise Skalski(her birthday) and very please with the service & the girls(Carrie & owner Melanie) were so personable & professional. It was a thoroughly enjoyable time. Prior to going I read the reviews and thought«oh no» but I believe in keeping an open mind. I’m sure glad I did. Melanie did a wonderful job and I will be returning. As for Denise, she has an appointment with Carrie on May 4 for highlights in her hair. Don’t believe everything you read, try for yourself. We are glad we did…

I actually had a «massage» from Healing Hands by Toveh who rents a room out of this spa. Please look for my review on Healing Hands byToveh for my experience. Since this place was empty, I wouldn’t recommend it.

This was the most unrelaxing and rushed pedicure I ever received. The lady who did my feet went on and on about how their pedicures are«Spa Pedicures» and better than any«regular pedicure at a Chinese place», and yet I can get a better cheaper pedicure somewhere else. The experience was anything bu «spa». She barely scrubbed my feet or used a pumice. I asked her to file down the nails and she did not– so my nails are not the same length. She missed one of my toes with top coat and the nail polish looks uneven with pieces of nail not painted. I went here only because I had bought a Groupon and will never go back. Even the price I paid with Groupon is way too much for the service– I cannot imagine anyone paying the full price. Also, when I called to make the appointment the person on the phone mumbled and was extremely rude. **They recently moved to 1283 Abbott Road, so pictures do not even resemble the place that they are in now.

I would never go back there. The place was dirty, outdated, and the service was ok. My pedicure and manicure I could have done myself. I was not impressed. The people were friendly, but not very professional. I did get the pedicure through Groupon which I guess you get what you pay for.

I have been going to see Melanie for about a year now. I have very troubled skin, acne and scarring the whole 9 and have tried every product on the market. I decided to try the peels. She was very honest in telling me what my skin needed and she was right. The prices are extremely reasonable. I paid triple the price for the same peel at a spa in williamsville. She offers packages of 6 peels that get your skin right on track. I didn’t see her for a few months and my skin blew up. If you have troubled skin like mine and need some maintenance, give it a shot and you won’t be disappointed! :)

I decided to surprise my wife on a special occasion by getting a Brazillian wax. Yes, that’s right. A guy getting a Brazillian. To say I was nervous, would be a considerable understatement. After speaking with Melanie on the phone, I was a little more at ease, so I made the appointment. When I arrived, I was greeted by Melanie with a warm smile that continued to ease my nerves. She explained the process as we walked upstairs to the room where I imagined I’d be more embarrassed than I’d ever been and feeling the worst pain in my life. After receiving instructions and being left alone to undress, Melanie came back in, let me feel the temperature of the wax(it wasn’t as hot as I thought it would be) as well as the differences between the hard and soft waxes she would be using. The conversation flowed easily and Melanie kept things very professional, yet comfortable. I didn’t feel awkward in the least and before I knew it, we were done. To my surprise and great relief, the pain was relatively minimal. When I walked out 30 minutes after my appointment started, I had no pain at all. I was so surprised and happy with the experience that my wife decided she would try as well. I see the reviews below about the poor customer service. All I can say is that they were probably caused by people that no longer work there. I’ve been there several times now and have had nothing but a positive experience. Yes, the spa is in a converted house but it’s a very convenient, easily accessible location. The inside is warm and friendly as is the staff I’ve met. I will be going back, and so will my wife.

I came here for a massage with a groupon deal. It’s in a house so it’s not a luxurious spa experience. The massage with Toveh was great, but the massage room was small and had a window with blinds, so the room was not completely dark. If you are one of those people that likes a dark massage room, this won’t be for you. If you are one of those people that can meditate anywhere, then you can handle this. She had nice soothing massage music playing, but the walls are thin, so I could still hear the radio blasting from downstairs(Bön Jovi and radio talk), people talking about how they«seen something»(No, honey. You«saw» something. smh) and noises from outside(lawn mowers, traffic). If the massage therapist worked out of a different location, I might go back, but I won’t go back to this place.

Don’t waste your time and money on this place. Worst experience of my life! Worst costumer service I have ever received!!! As soon as I walked in the door the esthetician was extremely rude to me. With a huge attitude she told me to fill out a paper. Then she took me up the stairs while I was really hoping that she wasn’t going to be the one giving me my facial, but sure enough she was. The room that she took me in did not look professional. This place is a house so they use the same room for facials and massages and it’s not at all like a spa. So if you’re looking for that nice comfortable spa get away this is definitely not the place to go to. Anyway that’s not even the bad part about my whole experience. This extremely rude esthetician(which I think might be one of the owners) asks me if I wear anything that’s prescription on my face and I said yes whenever I get a pimple, but not always. Oh well I don’t know what I was thinking saying yes because it was like setting off a bomb! That’s when her rudeness went over board and she overstepped her boundaries. She started yelling at me asking me the name and I couldn’t remember. Then she started yelling that she can’t do this now because I don’t know the name of the prescription and she doesn’t want to hurt me. I told her how I don’t use it that often and she yelled at me and said«I don’t care! My job is on the line I can loose my license.» She was literately yelling at me. I could not believe this was actually happening. So I finally said you know what forget it I don’t want to do this anymore you have been rude to me since I walked in the door. So she followed me down the stairs and then she tried to be nicer but never apologized for her outbreak. So I told her I could call my doctor and find out the name of this deadly prescription I use, and she rudely again responds with I don’t have any time right now I have another costumer. This is a 15 minute procedure! And I was thinking to myself: yeah and you just spent it on yelling at me the whole 15 minutes! I told her that I would call her back to make another appointment just to drop it so I could leave, but as soon as I got home I called groupon and got my money back. I was so furious I’ve never in my life been treated like that and I don’t think anyone ever should! I have worked in the costumer service for almost 10 years and I have never encountered something like this. These people should not be in this business. They have groupons all the time and I highly recommend never buying one or ever going there! Spread the word of how awful this place is!!!
