Tortorice’s Pizzeria

This is by far my fiancé and our daughter favorite place for pizza! The thin crust and the thick crust are just delicious! The taste of the sauce and cheese is on point. the food usually arrived with in decent time but only downfall is our delivery drivers have not been to pleasent at all. We Haven’t had anything else from there but very excited to try. A must go for your pizza!

Ordered from Tortorice’s first time last night – due to getting a coupon in the mail and reading good reviews here on Unilocal.Ordered a 3 topping pizza well done– and that is exactly what I got. Fantastic pizza! Piping hot, well topped and well done. Yay! I wanted to do the pizza dance of joy, but I saw my cat eyeing the pizza and didn’t trust him alone with it. Silly as it may sound, the extra quality delivery box really makes a difference – to me at least. I will be back.

They cook the Pizza perfectly every time. The taste is amazingly good. The staff is always friendly.

This is my go to pizza place in the Buffalo Grove area. The pizza is great and the employees are very friendly. Had an issue with a delivery order one time and it was quickly rectified.

Never going back. Not sure if change in ownership or staff but certainly not the personable people that I’ve dealt with previously.
First nearly killed myself walking from the parking space in front of the door because not properly shoveled.
Then tried to use a coupon that I had in the car. Although expired has never been an issue in the past. The rude woman behind the counter informed me the policy changed.
Business must be great to ignore customer service and lose long time customers over $ 4!
First New Year’s Resolution of 2016… Avoid Tortorices and share my experience with Northgate & Mill Creek friends and families.

First I want to say that the owner of Tortorice’s is very nice and accommodating. When he saw my Unilocal review, he reached out to apologize for the bad pie and asked if he can try to make it better. Since there are so many positive reviews, it makes sense to try them again. A few weeks later, we called in to have the stuffed pizza remade (comped by the restaurant since our last pizza was inedible) and we also tried the Chicago style based on his recommendation.
Stuffed pizza with half cheese and half spinach and sausage: happy to report that the pizza was thoroughly cooked this time. The pie was tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The price was also decent for the size of the pizza.
Chicago style with half cheese and half spinach and sausage (identical to the stuffed so I can compare): I am not sure how I feel about this one. It’s exactly the same as the stuffed but without the extra layer of dough on top. I was expecting something a little different — maybe more like the butter crust of the other Chicago style place.
I also ordered a gluten-​free pepperoni which was great (according to the kiddo) and a Godfather ribeye sandwich. I asked for the ribeye to be more on the medium rare to medium side, but I was told this wasn’t possible due to cooking and baking of the sandwich. While the flavor a were spot on, it did come out well done — a little too dry for my liking.
A nice bump up to 4 stars this time. Thanks for adding a new rotation to our carry out and delivery lineup!

The employees at Tortotice’s are nothing but professional and polite. The real thing the sets them apart from the other pizzerias is that their food is of superb quality and CHEAP. I order atleast three times a week. My favorite is the Pan, but the Picasso is legendary. For any out-​of-​towners that want a legitmate chicago style pizza and on a tighr budget, this should be your first choice! Food is always consistent and the delivery is «Oven Hot». If you never had the food, you’re missing out! The sandwiches are hand-​crafted and made to order, if you really want to be on the cheap side get a Calzone or «Panzoratti» which is a DEEP FRIED and filling.

I am a new customer to Tortorices, but after tonight’s experience I will be a life time customer. I placed an order not realizing it was at the wrong location. When I showed up at the Buffalo Grove location they stated they didn’t have my order. Less than a minute goes by the young lady at the front and Mark took my order and started to cook. They called the other location and took care of the cancellation. They made my 20min wait very comfortable and the staff was super friendly. I am a life time customer for sure

grew up with the tortorices in MP. This place is just as good, and i have it everytime Im back in town at least 2x

Pizza was decent. Needs more sauce.

Above and beyond customer service. When asked for a side caesar salad and was informed that they didn’t have the lettuce to make it, they heard the disappointment through the phone order. When we went to go pick up the rest of the order we found out that they made a special run to pick up the lettuce at a grocery store to make our salad and then proceeded to comp the salad off our check. Made our nights.

This pizza looks better than it tastes. The wings were OK as well. Got the bbq flavor wings and they tasted like buffalo. Nothing special with this place. The toppings on the pizza were huge, not in a good way. Probably wouldn’t order from here again willingly.

My family and I have gotten our pizza here for about a decade. We always love it, in fact we love it so much that we get once a week. The friendliness of the owners and all the other staff is astonishing.

This is hands-​down my favorite pizza in the area. I enjoyed some Tortorice’s on my first night living in Wheeling and have been back several times since then. I’ve never had a bad pizza from them, and the appetizers I’ve tried (pizza bread, breaded veggies and jalapeño poppers) have all been pretty tasty. Their deep dish is the best I’ve had in all of Chicagoland, far better than any of the bigger local chains.

Tortorice’s is absolutely delicious! Our absolute favorite pizza there is their specialty Western thin crust. Loaded with bacon, sausage, and onions, on top of sweet barbecue sauce — it’s out of this world!

This is my #2 choice for pizza in the area.
Still receives 5 stars from me though!
If you like obscene amounts of cheese, this is your place!
You really can’t go wrong.
Although I should make a point of trying some of their other menu items too.

Amazing pizza as always! I love their thin crust Popeye (spinach and ricotta). I thought tonight would be busy it being New Years Eve, but my pizza was ready when I got there. Very prompt service at the counter. I love this place!!! My go-​to pizza joint!

Decent thin crust pizza, a good option in suburbs. Very slow delivery service. I personally like Joe’s pizzeria more.

I love this pizza! The double dough crust is crispy on the bottom and so soft and fluffy on the inside. The sauce is savory, and not overly sweet, just really robust and «tomato-​y» (for lack of a better word).
Finally, the service is superior, which is why we continue to return. Keep up the stellar work!
