Color Splash Salon & Spa

I got my touch-​up with Lisa on November 5, 2014, it was a Groupon Purchase for $ 35 for a touch-​up/​hair color. She was very nice and the service was very good, she did a great job matching my color from another salon — this can always be tricky but I was impressed — there wasn’t a line of demarcation. I think it’s a great touch that they offer coffee — thank you! This really does help when we’re sitting there for almost two hours. I would probably go back — the only reason I would not make it my regular salon is because I live in Skokie. I can’t justify traveling over 30 miles just to go this salon however, if I am in the area I would definitely go and ask for Lisa again. I am not sure about the other stylists so I am only vouching for Lisa (I believe she is the owner too).

I have had the Keratin treatment done twice on my hair at Color Splash.
Lisa, the owner, is very friendly, punctual and does a great job! I have had this service done at other salons and it never worked. Lisa took the time to make sure it was done correctly with the proper products for my hair. The salon is clean and parking is easy.

I am new to the area and wanted to try a new salon for waxing.
When I arrived, I was greeted by Julie, the Esthetician. She was warm and friendly.
She has a beautiful treatment room which is very warm and inviting.
She explained her choice of wax which was best for me and shaped my brows beautifully. I’ve been to other nail salons for waxing, but she is definitely the best yet. At the end of my wax she gives a gentle massage with creams that soothe the skin. Soooo relaxing.

The services and staff at color splash are wonderful. I have been getting my hair cut and colored here since salon opened and have been seeing the staff here longer and would never go any where else.
They are incredibly thoughtful and understanding people as well. I had an appointment but had to cancel for personal reasons a few days prior to the appointment. Color splash quickly and easily rescheduled me on the new day that I requested without any hassle.

If there were zero stars this so called salon and spa would rate that number. I had an appointment for bikini wax last week which was cancelled b/​c the employee was stuck somewhere due to weather. Rescheduled for this morning and just had a call that the employee was again stuck somewhere due to weather. Duh??? Get someone who is reliable or else you’ll not have a business in six months based on employee performance — or lack of performance. Now I’ve wasted money on a deal that will never happen…
