Wienerschnitzel

I came here thru the drive thru. I do not live that close by but since I had gone grocery shopping at stater bros I came here. But I am about a 10 min drive on the freeway. I ordered a bunch of hotdogs for my family and chilli cheese fries for myself. I got home and opened my chilli cheese fries to be disappointed that it had bacon in it. I did not ask for chilli cheese fries with bacon! I do not eat pork! I do not like it! I do not want to drive all the way back since it should have been given to me the right way tbe first time!!!

The staff here is excellent!!! Very friendly and they’ll help if there was any issue. They always have things clean and in stock. I usually come by during weekday lunch hours and I’ve never had a bad experience. My food is always served well.

They serve burned corn dog even you ask for a new one. If you really want corn dog. This is not a place. I changed from 1 star to 2 stars since at least the staff was nice to let me replace my corndog although it came out burned again and she said it is always that burnt!

This has got to be the best Wienerdude with happy employees! The dude, who I believe was a manager… he looked like the head guy running things there… he was SO NICE!!! I think his saying it «hey, you got it!» I loved it!!! Haha. Best customer service ever!!!

This place gets 2 stars because they’re customer service sucks! On January 27^th, 2014 I went to get food around 9:30. I was going to use my gift card for Christmas that I haven’t used yet but the lady at the drive thru slide the card and just kept saying it don’t work. I told her I haven’t ever used it before she gave me a weird look and closed the window to the drive thru. She did not even tell me to hold on or say one moment. She reopened the window and said it don’t work. I work in a food restaurant so I felt her custom service was not appropriate. I know she could easily type in the numbers to my gift card. She was very rude. I will not come back to this location I’ll stick to the others that are always so friendly and nice.

Just ran in there to use the restroom but felt bad so I bought something. Guy at the register was extremely polite and knew how to add some humor and brighten up the environment. I usually don’t eat at fast food places (for health reasons and environment issues) but this place was great. Most people who work at fast food restaurants seem to hate their jobs but this guy was the exact opposite and was jusy having fun. Well done sir.

Decided to have Wienerschnitzel for lunch since its been a while. I always love their fries, maybe even more than McDs. Lately they don’t seem to advertise burgers on the menu as in the years past. But came in today and saw a unique burger on the menu, the Junkyard burger. Its chili cheese burger w/​grilled onions, mustard, fries. Since i don’t like chili on my burger, told them not to put it.

This location is better than most.
And while I don’t think it is their fault, there is the distinct sewer odor around this intersection (Western and Orangethorpe) which makes me rethink my choice of two chili dogs and an outside table.

New owners John and Christine Perez are awesome. Welcome to Buena Park. The store is clean and service is good. They are community service oriented and host blood drives, sponsor youth sports teams and are heavily involved in school fundraising (they give 20% of all sales back to a school hosting a fundraiser).
Yes it’s fast food but where else can you get five chili dogs or five corn dogs for $ 5. The combo is interchangeable too, so you can mix and match with corn and chili dogs.
The best item on the menu is the $ 3.59 the Angus Beef Pastrami Hot Dog, and it is AWESOME… It has piles of ANGUS BEEF pastrami, a crsip pickle, melty cheese and is served on a soft pretzel bun. Hard to beat for the price.
They also are open early and have a complete breakfast menu.
And hello!!! They have in-​house Tastee Freez. Sundaes are $.99 and cones are $.79.

My kiddos had their first chili cheese dog here. …and they haven’t stopped talking about it since. Honestly there are many better chili cheese joints out there, just not for a buck! What they hey… we were in burns park for NYE, NY day and we returned for a chili chz. Dog… kids loved it! Great service, fast drive thru, open late!!!
Now for you grown ups… Just up the road you can get a kick butt chili dog at portillos… for about 4 x the cost… your choice

All locations usually have awesome deals so keep an eye out. But the chili cheese fries (extra cheese) and corn dogs are a must

Who doesn’t remember their firsts?
First kiss, first car, first review, first STD, first … well you get the point.
Well today I had two firsts. I was at work and hungry. I ask my co-​worker where do you want to eat. This fool said «let’s go eat at Wienerschnitzel.» This is the first time I EVER asked someone where they wanted to eat and actually had them say Wienerschnitzel.
I said fuck it … I normally don’t admit this but this is the first time I ever admitted I like a good hot dog every now and then. I mean what exactly is in a hot dog? Is it even meat, pork … what? Do I even wanna know?
So we pull up and I see a sign that says «Try the new Seadog.» I’m thinking WTF’s a seadog. If you’re anything like me, you’re always willing to try new shit. I like new shit. I’m a fan of different and variety so I decide to give it a try.
Don’t let your curiosity tempt you. Basically it’s a fishshit in a hot dog bun with lettuce and tartar sauce. I also tried a polish sausage sandwich that was decent.
But to tell you the truth, the next time I’m craving a long piece of meat in my mouth, I’d rather head to Costco. Yeah I know, don’t lie to yourself … you know you eat lunch at Costco sometimes.

Who can resist a yummy golden corn dog??? I recently moved in nearby and have been to this restaurant several times. Each time I’ve gone (through the drive through) the staff has been courteous, food has been hot/​fresh and I get in and out fast.
Just tonight I decided to try this new polish dog. Whoa it’s gigantic. It didn’t even fit in the bag! I usually eat two corn dogs (I love me some corn dogs) fries and drink combo. Tonight I can’t even finish! It even feels a little «healthier» since it has grilled peppers and onions on top. (ok so not really healthy… but a girl can dream!)

I avoid this unless I’m starving. I only go here for mini corn dogs because they’re made with chicken so I don’t feel as bad. My boyfriend likes to buy chili dogs late at night. The closing time doesn’t seem to be consistent. This one sucks.

I love Wienerschnitzel. It brings back fond memories of my childhood because there used to be one right down the street from me. This place does not do their Chili Cheese Dog nor Chili Cheese Fries any justice.
This location sucks. Has no consistency and the employees behind the window are always mean-​muggin. Puts a bad taste in my mouth.
