I came here New Years Eve and I was starving! I will note that I feel this place was understaffed because people were moving in all directions. The food wasn’t THAT bad. I will praise this place for offering quinoa salad and stir fry tofu, thank you for catering to vegetarian/vegan guests! All our waiter did was take drink orders. Overall I will return because this is FEW in Knotts that cater to my eating lifestyle.

New Year’s Eve dinner at Knotts. Don’t let the classy and upscale exterior fool you — this is a buffet and the ambience is straight up «cavernous church hall.» The service was non-existent, which seems impossible since all they had to do was take drink orders and take away empty plates. The girl at the cash bar said she was thrown there and had no idea what she was doing. My friend Brian said open that bottle and pour! There were a ton of staff working but no direction. Where’s the training? Where’s the management? Zero stars for the experience and service. Two stars for the food: highlights were green bean casserole, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, and believe it or not, the fruitcake! Definitely not worth $ 26.99 per person. At least we got our 10% annual pass discount.

After having Thanksgiving breakfast at Spurs Restaurant I’m surprised that Spurs has only 3 stars. My experience was thoroughly wonderful. Being Thanksgiving we did have to wait a little while(even with reservations) but it wasn’t a long wait. As we walked in the place was beautifully decorated and the buffet tables looked like holiday greeting cards. The back room where we sat is much more humble looking then the front room. However it is also much more quiet than the front room so I am really glad we were sat back there. Our waiter was really nice guy. Very friendly and courteous. My boyfriend was a bit miffed that the bus-woman(or someone) didn’t take away our used plates fast enough. For me, since it was Thanksgiving and our table was largest enough for a new set of buffet dishes and the 2 used dishes it didn’t bother me. She apologized, got the dishes and was off. The food: AMAZING. When you first walk in you can see the buffet tables to your right and it was literally picture perfect. Everything we tried was genuinely cooked /prepared to perfect or near perfection. The turkey was incredibly moist and the gravy was delicious. The salmon was fresh, the pasta was flavorful, the bacon was cooked thoroughly and not a single burnt one in the bunch. The fruit was fresh and the desert table was beautiful. The only suggestion I would offer is that I wish they had more 1-bite size samples of various desserts that they had in slices. I hate to waste food and I can’t eat a lot of desserts. Also — a couple more sugar free 1-bite size samples would be nice.

This place was so good, I had the Boysenberry Pecan Chicken Salad and it was more than enough for me, it’s a big plate and you can share it with another person, the chicken was very delicious and I would recommend it to anyone who comes to Knotts Berry Farm!!! Ask for Adanely she is an amazing server, she recommended the salad and was very nice and polite!!!

Literally the worse experience ever. Knotts is not even that busy today and we were waiting for WAY too long for the food. I picked up and left without getting the food and walked over to sitters and waited for a quick minute for the same food… HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE. In fact out whole knotts experience today has been absolutely horrible… would rather spend the extra 40 bucks for Disneyland or drive the extra hour for six flags…

Very classy food and really good. We had 2 really awesome waitresses Annie and Mary. All the foods that I have tried so far have been awesome. The chef comes out to see if everything is alright. I love sitting outside on the patio in the summer and when they have their show The Minor’s Bluegrass Band play there. The place is great. I will miss them with the ‘Off Season” because they aren’t open. Highly recommend this place.

We went on a Saturday during Knott’s Merry Farm and there was no wait and we were seated right away. The prices are moderate and they serve alcohol. The menu is very limited which is fine being that they serve large quantities of people. I had a crispy chicken sandwich. The chicken was indeed crispy and juicy. The bun was soft and was chargrilled. It was a bit too grilled, because all I could taste on the sandwich was the tomato and burnt bread. They serve big hearty portions of steak fries which were hot and thick. My companion ordered the turkey club which was really just a turkey sub. It was loaded with turkey and he had the same fries. The club was too much for him. Meal came with a complimentary dessert of chocolate mousse trifle which was tiny and delicious. It was only okay, the service could have been a bit more prompt and it felt like we sat around for awhile, although our waitress was very nice.

Nice place in the park to take a minute and enjoy a meal with service. Not terribly expensive. it’s right next to Ghostrider, but the patio is still a quaint place to stop for a meal

I was at this restaurant over the weekend for an event… so I cant really comment on how the actual restaurant is, but I can comment on the things from the event. We walked in and the hostess took our meal tickets, and stamped our hand. She let us know our group was in the room straight ahead. They had a buffet set up, and a soda machine — but the soda machine was broken — so they had pitchers of all of the different drinks. The food was hotdogs, chili, cheese(nacho style), salad, coleslaw, fried chicken and cookies. All of it was really good. Im not sure if this is what the restaurant usually serves, I am guessing not — but it was great. The service was good, and the drinks were always full.

The supervisors need to do a better job scheduling more servers. The Mother’s Day Brunch was horrible! I cannot believe that a server gave my mother the rudest look & the words to go w/it! We complained, but nothing has been done. So, we’re warning you the consumer-stay away. RUDEPEOPLE! No one serves you. The lady I thought was our server was drunk-yep! She was too busy w/t the champagne bottle to get us water. For god’s sake woman –get some AAA help!

From beginning to end, my experience here was hellish. My boyfriend and I walked in and there was absolutely no hostess to seat us. So we walked into the big restaurant, and saw around 20 tables: 3 were occupied by unhappy customers, 10 still had dishes waiting to be waited, and about 7 were empty. I went to go find a waitress– it was like Finding Waldo. Where the heck was she? I looked around and finally found a waitress lounging in the kitchen. She apologized and gave us our menus and brought us our drinks. 20 minutes passes, and we finished our diet coke. We were still waiting for the waitress to come back and take our order. Can you believe I went back to the kitchen? She was lounging… again! what the heck. The food was OK and priced reasonably. But the service is horrible! I would never go back, ever.

Spurs Chop House located inside Knotts is a fairly new restaurant(opened in June 2009) in which anyone guest of the park or not can dine at. You simply go to the guest services window where they take the number of your party along with your credit card and charge your card for a days admission. In which after dinner your waiter will stamp your receipt which says the time you left. You then have 20 minuted to return to guest services in order to get a refund credit to your card. Now that I look back at it. I think that it was way too much work for dinner. 1) finding parking 2) waiting in the guest service line. God help you if you are in line behind some cheap tool who does not get how their system works. 3) all that stamping of receipts and returning for a credit. Hell, I want to just roll in have a nice dinner and check out. Not walk all over the place. Alas we make our way into Ghost Town where Spurs Chop House is located. We walk in to find an empty hostess area. No host to be found. We waited with another couple for a few minutes before the bus boy came out to tell us that they were closed. CLOSEDAT8:10! Ding there goes a star. Why guest services is unaware of Spurs business hours obviously shows that there is a lack of organization between the two. The bus boy runs to talk to the manager. I at this point was over it. Too tired from an 8.5 hour long day on my feet where all I wanted to do was hear the words«can i get you a drink» and«can i take your order». Not, «sorry we are closed». The bus boy returns with a «the manager would like you to stay since you came out just to dine here» Honestly. This place looks like a huge mess hall. Something like that of the mess hall in M.A.S.H. The lay out is silly. It looks like a cafeteria. Like a hospital cafeteria or the ones at camp except you are obviously going to spend far more at Spurs than that of a cafeteria. Prices start at around $ 10-$ 26. There is no cocktails either. Only beer and wine. The bread that came out was obviously warmed up in the microwave and hard. The honey butter however was good. When we were ordering our meal and asked what the«your choice of starch» options was, the waiter told us. «I am new here so let me ask my manager» all though he was polite it was silly that he didn’t know the menu. I mean shouldn’t they know the menu before going on the floor as a waiter? Just saying. In all the food was good. I went with the western burger, the boy had the pork chops, his mother the salmon and his father the some sort of steak. In the end our bill was $ 102. YUP. too much more this place. They boast on their site that they: ” We offer phenomenal food at a reasonable price. Dine on the patio or in front of our fireplace. Spurs offers a fun atmosphere like nothing you’ve ever experienced at a theme park. Beer, wine and cocktails are available“ LIE… Dine by the fireplace. The thing was not even on. And there was nothing fun about going through all this trouble to eat at this place. For all this effort and the confusion on the staffs part I would of rather of gone to one of my normal places and had an enjoyable relaxed meal. I will have to add that we all enjoyed our meal. The staff were friendly. The bus boy i think his name was Jose was on it. Cleaning and checking in with us as well as the manager and our waiter. In the end the manager brought out a huge dessert on the house. He felt bad that there was a bumpy start. Would I return. Ehhhh. No. Not just for dinner. Maybe if I was a guest at the park. But that was a MAYBE. HUGEDING was the too loud of music. Tone it down a bit. The music sucked as well. They only decent thing I heard was The Cure’s «Just like heaven» but even at that it was too loud. They need to change it up a bit. I am confused at what Spurs entire moto is but definitely in my opinion a huge cafeteria slash mess hall with loud club like music blaring with a non burning fireplace. note: i dig music while i dine. I mean Eat Chow and Lola Gaspar and Malo is great. But, theses places have that ambiance and atmosphere going for them. Spurs is like the Grand Canyon of restaurants. I could of stood atop of my table and yelled HELLLOOOOOO and I would of heard«helllllloo» in return. This place is decent food but just silly.
