I haven’t been to Payless in years. I have been in search of silver shoes for some time. I found some on the Payless website and decided to go in because it was near by. There was one person in the entire store who didn’t even assist me in finding the shoes I wanted. I go up to the counter and was greeted with terrible customer service. Not only was the person unfriendly, she scanned items I didn’t even want to my bill! When I told her I wasn’t interested in those items I received a dirty look. Definitely not coming back!

I really love this place because I have super tiny feet and it’s very difficult to find cute shoes. I used to buy high heels here all the time but due to a car accident I had back in August I can’t wear heels anymore :(but on the bright side, I bought myself a cute pair of boots for $ 25 and they gave me a $ 2 off coupon for my next visit. Thanks! :)

For someone who isn’t too picky when it comes to styles of shoes and sandals, I really like this Payless location. Although, to be honest, this is probably the only Payless I’ve ever been to for the past 15 years. I may have been to some other one, but that was centuries ago, so no way am I going to remember squat. But anyways, I bought a nice pair of sandals here last summer, and I still wear them to this day. I came in today to look for a nice pair of running shoes, and found an awesome pair of Champion women’s running shoes. It cost me just $ 25, and I probably would have found these for twice as much elsewhere. I’m so glad they had my size as well! Of course, I did notice there wasn’t really that big a selection on street shoes and running shoes for women though, but nonetheless, I sport sandals and flip flops majority of the time anyway, so this is probably my spot from now on to shop for cute sandals. They had cute heels as well!

I walk in at 8:54pm just to quickly browse and see if anything catches my eye. I barely make it down an aisle before I am told they are closing early because the store is messy. Really? How hard is it to stay open another 5 or 6 minutes when you’ve already been open all day? Boo.

Payless: Cute, cheap shoes. Good, friendly service. Decent selection. Decent selection? Not here. This is a small location that doesn’t carry everything that other locations do. So do yourself a favor and go to the Payless that is next to Target on Orangethorpe and Beach. We all know you hate the mall, anyway.
