I’ve been to Odori a few times now for the AYCE and have been very satisfied each time. First off, the service is excellent. The staff works together to make sure food is served promptly and beverages refilled. The quality of the sushi is very good with a lot of options for nigiri. The appetizers and hand rolls are also very tasty. You have up to three rounds to get your fill(which is plenty!) but you can order appetizers whenever you want. Highly recommend!

First round of AYCE was pretty good. Would recommend the Odori roll… but be warned most of their AYCE rolls are all California rolls… Second round of sushi was BLEGH! The Salmon was basically frozen… and tasted old… really surprised especially since the first round was pretty good. Disappointed on my first visit… maybe next time.

This place is amazing and my favorite! When I am craving all you can eat sushi, this is my go to place. It’s more worth it if you get the all you can eat deal rather than the regular pricing. I usually order 3 or more plates and worth more than the all you can eat price. I went to Odori for my birthday last and my friends agreed that this is place is delicious and the service is impeccable. My friends had accidentally given tip on top of the gratuity and the host(forgot his name) gave the bill back and reminded them that gratuity was already included. If you’re in the OC area and looking for a good place to eat, I would definitely recommend this place.

Typical ayce sushi… inconsistent, which you can see in my photos. Same day visit. I do believe these ayce sushi places have been getting better as a whole but still not something I’d consider on a regular basis. I’d rather eat less of better quality than massive amounts of medicore. Here’s the low down. Pros: –They dress their sushi pretty consistently… with ponzu sauce and such. –The rice/fish ratio is pretty spot on. Meaning very little rice which is a plus. –Tempura and other cooked items are included. –Free parking. Cons: –Inconsistent quality of fish. The range of quality was actually pretty poor to very good. –All the fish was precut… very thin. –Sushi is smaller than most regular sushi places. –No premium sushi offered for dinner like most other places. –Very loud inside. So if you’re craving alot of sushi and you’re broke, this is the place to go. It’s 20.05 for lunch and 25.95 for dinner. This includes rolls and appetizers. Not sure if they have premium sushi you can order separately, but the ayce does not come with Uni, Amaebi, Mirugai, Aji. Most places includes a limited order thesedays.

My go-to AYCE sushi spot. Even certain appetizers are part of AYCE(get the baked mussels!!!). My boyfriend is all about salmon nigiri & its usually expensive. Whenever we go to revolving sushi(where you pay per plate) a salmon nigiri plate with 2 pieces is about $ 3.50-$ 4.00 and he can eat like 15 orders which totals more than the price of AYCE here at Odori($ 25). Plus the fish always taste fresh. I’m more of a shrimp tempura roll type person, and they have many different choices in their specialty rolls to choose from. I recommend this place to all AYCE sushi lovers.

When it comes to a sushi joint that #1 is fresh and #2 has all you can eat… wellllll it’s pretty hard to seek out a reputable spot. Odori though has never ever disappointed from day 1!!! I brought my boyfriend here about a year ago and we have been back multiple times since. I know I know how dare I not a wrote a single review up until now. Well in my defense the food was soooooo good and we were having so much fun that I totally forgot haha. The fish is always fresh here and the service has never once disappointed me. They are a very busy little joint but they get everything to you extremely quick and nothing is ever forgotten. We have had large party dining parties here and just the 2 of us. Either way they are always on top of everything. The atmosphere is casual and the building for modern. Pricing is pretty general and well priced in opinion for sushi.

Located in a little plaza with free parking. You should be able to park for free in the lot. This is a great place for cheap AYCE at roughly $ 21 for lunch and $ 26 for dinner. You can sit at tables or at the sushi bar for AYCE, but the menu is somewhat limited. They offer a few hand rolls(no salmon, just baked salmon skin). They also offer some nigiri, some appetizers, and some rolls. The fish is good, but I’ve definitely had fresher, but still pretty tasty. A lot of their rolls are California-roll based, but there is still enough of a selection to keep you satisfied(especially for the price). Service is great here. Overall, it’s a great spot for AYCE, especially considering the price. Don’t go here for the freshest and most extensive menu, but you’ll definitely be satisfied when you leave.

So after playing some video games down at Howie’s Game Shack, my friends and I wanted to grab some all you can eat sushi. So we chose the nearest one, which is here. Very convenient. The first problem we came across was the wait time, although to be fair, it was a weekend AND it was dinner time, so it was completely understandable that there are a lot of people wanting to grab some sushi. Next we enter the quality of the sushi and the price. It was the standard All you can eat price for dinner of $ 24.95 a person. We ordered a lot of things, and the quality of the rice and fish were fantastic, as well as their fice-to-rice ratio. I enjoyed this and would definitely go again if I am in the area. The plate size was also one of the most interesting parts, but unfortunately I didn’t get a picture. We ordered 4 sets of rolls for 4 different people, and they all fit in one very large circular plate, which was something I don’t see. Normally, it’s just a big square plate, but here at Odori, it’s a circle. The waiter always asked if things were okay, which was nice because my friends and I would give feedback on what they could improve on. It’s really nice to have a waiter that was actively asking if things are okay. Another problem that we ran into was the menu and the communication. The communication can be understood because at the time of service, it was busy and filled with customers, which makes it difficult for servers to hear things. If we ignore the communication problem because it was understandable, the problem is then redirected to the menu. My friend was allergic to avocado, and the roll that I always order is a spicy tuna roll with salmon and avocado on top(very delicious). Unfortunately, it wasn’t stated on the menu that there was going to be avocado on it. I ordered a Dragon Roll, and there was avocado on that one as well. I’ve been to many sushi places, but usually they tell you exactly what ingredients are used to make it, so for improvements, just list out the ingredients, so that way customers don’t order rolls or fish that have ingredients that the customers are allergic to on top of the fish. Other than that, this place was delicious and was a very large restaurant. Pros: + Large restaurant size with nice theme. Very good looking place! + Great fish to rice ratio + Cool looking plates. I love restaurants that have really nice looking plates to hold their sushi. Fine china. + Friendly service, always asking us if everything’s okay, which is nice. + Juicy tuna. For some reason, I could really taste the tuna’s full flavor. Normally, I am a salmon person, but for this place, I went more towards the tuna. Cons: — Wait time, pretty long, but to be fair it’s the weekend. — Due to large restaurant size, if you go during dinner time, it’s going to be pretty loud and packed, so if you’re not into loud ambience, come early. — Menu doesn’t list every single ingredient. This is a problem if you order something, and then one of the ingredients is something you’re allergic to. Recommendation: Go in a group, go early, and get lots of rolls together(or nigiri sushi if you don’t like rolls). Get the cool looking plates and enjoy your lunch/dinner. The tuna nigiri is very juicy.

Never fails, been coming here so many times, more times that i have checked in, and every single visit is always good. Our favorites: Albacore, Seared Tuna, Eel, Baked Muscles, Salmon… Service is awesome, no waiting for the servers to come, we got seated right away, the place is always full… Fish ratio to rice is always good :) For tonights visit we had Sylvia as our server, she was super helpful, specially with my little ones, didn’t have to ask for plastic fork or spoon, she got it right away. Food came out fast and hot. We were not rush, even they were closing. To sum it all, this is our sushi spot!!!

Ok so we did a family vacation to the Buena Park area and when trying to feed a family of five its difficult on a budget. Our family loves sushi and we found this place on a Google search. Upon getting seated we were greeted by the extremely friendly staff. Phu was our waiter and this guy was spot on, I even complimented him mid meal. The food is fantastic and they are on top of it. I cannot compliment the service enough especially for being New Year’s Day and busy we never had empty glasses, and our sushi came fast! The price at $ 25/person isn’t bad considering the quality and attentiveness of the staff. I highly recommend the Jalapeño, and the Philly Crunch Roll omg to die for! All in all you won’t be disappointed in this place its conveniently located and the atmosphere is really nice. We will definitely be back on our next trip to southern California!

Odori is my new favorite sushi joint. The seared ahi tuna is the best I’ve had in years! Service is constantly good, however wait times can be a problem with such a small waiting area.

I’m so disappointed with this place. A large majority of their roles are California rolls or spicy tuna rolls with something on top. not even anything creative or unique. The fish is good but the tuna had a strange taste to it. Also, the fish on top of the sushi pieces is ssoooo thin all I really tasted was rice. The two stars are for the good service/nice staff. otherwise there’s literally nothing special about the food. Needless to say, I will not be back.

Came here on a Friday night with a group of 5 and surprisingly, the wait wasn’t that bad, considering the restaurant is fairly small. I think we waited for about 30 – 40 minutes, what seemed like. The person at front was nice enough to give us updates on our table, which made waiting bearable. When we were finally seated, the waiter was very friendly and our food came quick, despite how busy they were. Of course we were there for the AYCE and $ 25 per person isn’t that bad for Friday night dinner. You get what you pay for, and that’s quality, fresh, and very tasty sushi rolls. I think we ate too fast since it was sooo good but we only lasted 2 rounds. We got 5 rolls each round so 10 altogether, not bad? Kinda, we could’ve done better lol You do want to be careful though because you will pay more if you waste food and you only get 3(or 4 can’t remember but its lmimited) rounds. I guess the trick is to order more rolls in the beginning and then decrease in the 2nd or 3rd. I seriously can’t remember all the rolls we ordered but I know we ordered the Odori roll because that one was my fave! They were all very delicious and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed! Like everyone else stated, the parking is very limited, even though they have a private lot, they share it with neighboring businesses that are also busy.

I’m not a fan of AYCE because it is what it is… sometimes you get really sad areas/pieces and sometimes you get good ones… usually mediocre taste… quantity over quality… but most of all, you always end up stuffing yourself as much as you can until you feel like throwing up… I always tell myself ‘oh, I’m just going to eat a normal amount to be somewhat full…’ but then you feel you need to get the most out of your money and stuff yourself to death. I actually enjoyed the fried food/appetizers here. When you get sick of the fish, the warm fried food tastes so good. Tempura, calamari, baked mussels were good. The seared tuna was pretty good. Salmon got sadder in the last round. I like that you can order hand rolls too in AYCE… but those and rolls fill you up pretty easily. Place looks modern. The problem with AYCE is the rounds… by the time you’re resting for the next order to come out, it will catch up to you and you won’t make it. So it’s just best to order a lot on the first round. As far as AYCE, it seems like it’s a better one out there. I guess value wise, you can’t beat it. I’m sure I will come again.

The quality of sushi is okay for $ 25 all you can eat sushi & rolls. The place is not that big, but we waited less than 15 minutes for group of 7 people around 6:30 for Saturday dinner. The food is served in fairy fast compared to other sushi restaurants. I recommend Seared Tuna, Salmon, yellow tail, eel, and spicy scallop for sushi. For rolls, I recommend Spider roll and tempura spicy roll. They have limit of 1 order per person on Jalapeño, but their jalapenos are BIG. 1 is more than enough for 2 people. Unfortunately, they do not have much choice for sushi. I love Uni, but they do not have it. I would not recommend if you are not going to this place for all you can eat.

My friend was really craving for sushi. And she really tried to pursuade me to come here for dinner. Well, I’m pretty picky for sushi. And I knew I won’t be satisfied but since she really wanted to try this place, gave a shot. All you can eat for $ 26 for dinner. Okay! Like I said, you don’t expect high quality. Good thing is they don’t put much of rice for sushi to fill your stomach. it’s not a buffet, so they make sushi when you order, so it will be fresh especially for tempura(hate soggy ones). What I liked were their house salad, tempura, ikura sushi, unagi sushi and scallop sushi. I liked their rolls better than sushi(this means fish quality isn’t that out standing). Miso soup was not that great. And I didn’t really like their yellowtail/salmon. Their service was really great though ! They were really nice and so fast for what you ask. In overall i would give 3.5

Possibly the best and freshest sushi i’ve had in all of LA/OC/IE/SD(yes, ive had sushi all over Cali) The all you can eat dinner price is about 25 a person, and comes with plenty of delicious appetizers to choose from,(my fav is the baked mussels) and plenty of rolls. If you’re a major raw fish fan and enjoy some traditional REAL sushi, they have the BEST yellowtail, mackerel, izumidai, scallops, seared tuna, albacore, and unagi. So fresh and melts in your mouth, it definitely does not need any wasabi or soy sauce. They also carry Asahi black which is a huge plus.

So my roommates and 2 of my freshmen hallmates decided to do our quarterly hangout: D And we didn’t know where exactly to go til someone said his friend had recommended Odori Sushi in Buena Park. I forgot to mention that we were going from Irvine to Buena Park on a Friday at 5pm. Not the best idea. We got there around 6.30 and I dropped my friend off to get us on the waitlist. I found parking in a small parking lot [Also I can’t park] and after realizing that we were only 2nd on the list, we were ecstatic and ready for our stomachs to be filled with sushi. Someone else signed in at the same time and they were 6th on the list. Raymond laughed. :P We got our table in 5 minutes. Our server let us sit down and asked us for what drinks we wanted(water) and we filled our form. She let us know that we could have unlimited rounds, past the three that were on the sheet, and if we wanted more, we could get another slip. That’s different from other places: DD. Tip: Party of 6 or more get the 17% gratuity fee. So what do you do first round? Obviously you order til you can’t eat any more, right? Noooooo. It’s AYCE. You gotta be smart about it! You have to finish all the rice and you have to pay if there are leftovers :( Salmon– the rice was a little bit more than Sake 2 Me and Sushi Asahi. The salmon was delicious though. Smooth and went in amazingly. I had like… a lot of pieces. Whoops. If you guys wanna know the number is more than 25. ._. Seared tuna– better than tuna in my opinion. I wish they had seared salmon here: O Escolar. :) Albacore– their sauce is amazing. They have too much of the onion but the sauce is so good. Rolls BSCR– Baked Scallop on CA Roll. You won’t like this if you get this near the end because it’s heavy. Really heavy. Especially when the end game is a California roll… but if you have this first it brings you a warm cozy feeling. Don’t throw up! :P White House Roll– similar to the BSCR in look, not too much about the taste. I wouldn’t get it because too many heavy things will make you full faster. Ninja Roll– Tuna and salmon on top of a CA Roll. Would rather get salmon or tuna by itself… Odori Roll– Too many onions, it’s like a CA Roll and Albacore on top? This is really good though, the sauce makes up for it. I guess I love garlic butter. So, when I was looking at the rolls I wasn’t too too impressed. They have the spider roll and the crunch roll, but everything else was California Roll, California Roll, California Roll and that gets tiring real fast. I don’t know if other AYCE places have this as well but I saw this many times on the menu. CA Rolls after CA Rolls after CA Rolls. Their sashimi was good, but they put a little bit more rice than expected or needed. It’s a good young environment where you can talk to friends and jive to the ayce sushi. Look at the bar and enjoy all the fishies there(: Plating is really nice and they really know which plates to bring out when. They also make sure you don’t have leftovers– first time server was like you guys have 64 pieces of rolls.(8 dishes), but we slaughtered that. So if you’re a veteran, don’t worry. If you’re new to this, just slowly take it through(: I only had the odori and crunch rolls(that I liked) but the other ones were meh to me.

Service: Service was really nice. The server was on top of my refills and cleared plates asap. She was amazing. Food: It’s not high end or top notch but still above average. To me, this place is a hit or miss place. Sometimes you’ll get a large amount of rice for nigiri or the perfect amount, just depends on the sushi chefs, i guess. However, no problem, it’s a great place for an all you can eat sushi place for its price. Ambiance: Has that sushi restaurant feel, large place so not so cramp and if you like sports, the tvs are behind the sushi chefs. lol Parking: Small, a pain…
