I love this place. I used to live nearby and when it first opened I sometimes even went twice in a day with my boyfriend at the time. We got hooked on the food but also the selection. My favorite was egg, sausage, cheese on sun dried tomato bagel but really all of them are great. The lunch-time sandwiches(though they serve everything until closing) have boars head brand deli meats so I appreciate the effort in getting some nicer quality meets compared to other places. The smoothies are great too and so is the coffee. I highly recommend the cream cheese muffin. The service is always fast and the workers are always polite. Also if I remember correctly they have free wifi when you buy something. When my parents visit me at my new home they always bring me a bagel from here which I think is hilarious. Everyone knows I love these bagels lol

Love, loved, loved their sandwiches and bagels. Most importantly, loved their service. A very attentive young man is taking down the orders in a courteous and efficient manner. Came in with the family and he took down our very extensive order without a glitch! A definite gem! Keep up the good work!

Friendly staff and their Tuna Sandwich was delicious! The service was great. Free refills on coffee and there are plenty to choose from. Just a small dining place, fits about 16 people inside and about 10 outside. But overall, great experience on my first time!

I really liked the friendly service and the quality of the food. The prices are not bad at all and I liked that the lady at the register was giving me suggestions on which bagels to try. I got the lox on plain and cheddar jalapeño with just cream cheese. It was all so tasty!

Lots of bagel flavor selection. No veggie options for toppings and coffee is just okay.

I was pretty disappointed with this place. First and last time i’ll be going there. I came in and the young man greeted me. When I told him I needed 2 doz bagels he handed me off to the pushy older Asian lady. She asked if I wanted her to mix the bagels and I told her I just wanted to ensure I got those 2 jalapeño cheese bagels on display, and the rest she could mix. She mixed the bagels, grabbing about 3 of the plain bagels. Anyway she pointed me over to the cream cheeses and I grabbed 3 of them. She charged me $ 26.97, grabbed the cream cheeses and packed them with the box and came from behind and gave them to me. I didn’t realize the bottom box had strawberry stuff on there and it dirtied my coat. Customer service is typical of what you would expect. Not the greatest. The bagels weren’t anything to write home about too. I ate the jalapeño cheese bagel and it was very dry & plain without flavor. I used some of the garden cream cheese with it, and that thing was flavorless too. I guess I was expecting something similar to Ensteins or Brueggers. If you’re looking for an upscale donut-type shop, this is your place. I’d rather have a good greasy donut anyday, or the real bagels. One of my employees commented the bagels look so plain!

One of my friends was craving a bagel at the time and we couldn’t find that was not closed at 2:00PM close to me except for Fresh Bagels. So we decided to come here and glad we found it through Unilocal because they deserve an outstanding ovation. The place is small with a few chairs on the side but this place packs a lot of different choices from bagels to sandwiches to even omelettes and breakfast items. Since we did come a little bit on the late side they were actually almost out of most of the bagels but my friend decided to try the lox bagel with some type of cheese on it. He totally loved it and actually ordered a second one to take away for later! That honestly tells you something. This place is bomb bay!!! I ordered the sandwiches special $ 4.49 with roast beef. It was delicious on not a bagel type bun but more like a bread type style. Either way it tasted great and I only ate half of it so my lunch was practically also a lunch plus dinner. I was happy as well! It’s like I spent five dollars for the whole day on food. The portion is just right and the service is so friendly. I’m glad we got to check out this place and it was because of all the reviews on Unilocal.I can see why now.

They«follow directions» every time our office orders from here. The sandwiches are cheap, fresh and delicious and the staff are always extremely friendly. The guys that make our sandwiches are pretty funny, too. We love fresh bagels & café!

My go to place breakfast place while i was still Director at a Nursing facility near this area. I feel compelled to write a review, as a departing gift for this place, for i will surely miss it! I adore their croissant breakfast sandwich, it is comprised of meat, cheese and eggs. And i always order a cup of coffee and donuts. What I’ll miss the most is the staff. There’s a hispanic woman at the counter who is very nice. As well as an older asian woman, both always so nice to me, and occasionally sneak in a free treat when i’m not looking :)) I Will miss this place!!!

Good bagels. Bad coffee. Wifi works. No bathroom. Lox City sandwich is great but don’t try the Vietnamese coffee. I thought I’d be adventurous and try the Vietnamese coffee. I’ve been here for hours and I’m still choking it down. The wifi works alright and they haven’t kicked me out yet. They don’t have a bathroom so I packed up and went next door. Not much seating here but I didn’t have trouble finding a table this morning or this afternoon. Yes, I’m the guy who parks his life in a coffee shop all day. No, I didn’t shower this morning. No, that delicious aroma is not the Vietnamese coffee, it’s my industrial-strength deodorant. Just kidding, Old Spice ftw.

This place has great service and the food comes out pretty fast. My family loves the denver omelet on spinach parmesan bagel. My personal favorite has to be sausage egg and cheese on jalapeño cheese bagel. All their bagels are perfectly baked! Their tropical smoothie is really good… kinda taste like jamba juice white gummy. Love all their ice blended bobas especially thai tea and honeydew. Great place for breakfast n brunch.

Meh. The omelettes need more flavor but the Thai is good. I heard good things about this place but it disappointed me a bit. Maybe it was the bagel I picked(sesame seed) for my veggie omelet but still def needed some more flavor.

Who doesn’t like bagels? This place has sooo many bagel selections and many possibilities of options for you to get the best breakfast deal. I opted to get an Everything bagel roll with chives cream cheese and bacon. They are VERY generous with the cream cheese, just the way I like it. The total for 3 bagel sandwiches and a coffee came out to be about $ 11. We were super satisfied.

I’m torn. It’s hard to find great lox around this part of OC so I appreciate Fresh Bagels & Café supplying great quality and tasty lox. Unfortunately, it’s going to cost an arm and a leg. I got the lox city on an toasted everything bagel and a Snapple. This meal set me back close to 9 dollars. The lox was great, the rest of the spread(tomato, red onion) a great complement. The bagel — however — was lackluster. For an everything bagel, it was pretty forgettable. The space is crowded and feels cramped. But the fact that the joint was consistently busy during the time I was there really says something about how much people love this place(or how severely lacking north OC and OC in general is when it comes to bagels). I’d come back if I were around the area but my search for the perfect bagel in OC continues…

So many coffee options! I’ve been here before a couple of times, service and food is consistently good! You can tell the owner and employees have a great system worked out, so even in a rush, things seem to stay fairly organized. Got the Denver Omelet Bagel sandwich combo & ugh delish! I love my ketchup, but with this sandwich and the avocados, I don’t need any extra condiments. It came w a cup of coffee, so I tried the Hawaiian hazelnut coffee & I’m in love! I love that they have non-dairy creamer as well. They have a great menu, prices — to me — are definitely reasonable & all the bagel options have me wanting to buy a whole box of a variety of their bagel flavors. It’s 3 minutes away from Cypress college so when I don’t feel like waiting for 30 minutes at the cypress grill place, I take that 3 minute drive and come here for a quick bite. I seriously love this place, and they have Boar’s Head, which — according to a friend — is hard to come by in the surrounding area.

We only came here because Unilocal suggested it as a good breakfast spot before heading to disneyland. It was cheap and nearby but the food was unsatisfactory. The food had no flavor… I ordered an omelette bagel that had bacon in it but I couldn’t even taste it. Have you ever had bland bacon? It was a first for me… On top of that, the bagel was a bit dry and due to the lack of flavor, I drowned it in tapatio, which ultimately just left a hot sauce taste in my mouth. I mean for $ 8 for a two person breakfast, it was alright. But I would rather pay a little more for a better tasting and better quality breakfast. If you want cheap and quick, this is great. If you want quality, go somewhere else. I prefer panera breakfast.

$ 4.00 for a kickin’ sausage, egg & cheese bagel sandwich and small coffee/tea! This place has quality service, great prices and yummy bagels. I didn’t have a problem with the place being packed and it didn’t look like they were running out of bagels anytime soon. Fully loaded display, amazing customer service and fantastic prices! You might have problems with groups here, as their seating is only two per table… don’t get that group and start joining tables up and inconveniencing the rest of the patrons. They have coffee urns for your convenience, great selection of teas and many options for bagels or pastries.

Bagels? Yes please! Another breakfast delivery from the wifey. They have an assortment of bagels available(30 varieties in all to draw from) Here’s the rundown: Lox & Bagel — Spinach/Parmesan bagel was delicious. It came with tomato, red onion and a single slice of lox for each bagel side. It was good, but it needed more lox. Capers would have been good too. Donuttery’s version was so much better. Turkey Sausage, Cheese & Egg Bagel Sandwich. Also on Spinach/Parmesan bagel. It was also good, but no great. Cream Cheese Muffin — I like it. Cream cheese in the center and on top(baked, toasted cheese taste, yum!!) This is a good solid bagel place. Yum!
