Dr. Chung has recently retired. This fabulous dentist is leaving the business in the hands of Dr. Edward Liu. I have had Dr. Liu perform some crown work for me in recent weeks, and, I greatly appreciate his communication, gentle nature, and follow-up care. I have several friends who are dentists, and, I can tell that Dr. Liu is very special. The office manager, Amy, is a true blessing! She cares tremendously for her patients; you will feel this immediately. This office is open Saturdays!

I’ve been to this dentist for a several years now. I love the doctor and his staffs. They are very friendly and courteous. The staff calls you to schedule for your teeth cleaning appointment when it’s time. So you don’t have to call them instead. Great service. On top of all, Dr. Chung does not«sell» his other services. He performs dental service that you need. This assures you that he’s not«selling» and try to charge you more for any dental works. Dr. Chung is very friendly and professional. He’s English may not be very good; BUT he gets his point across and you definitely understands what he’s trying to explain to you in layman’s term.

This is a dentistry I used to go to before I knew anything better. There was one incident that made me want to never go back there anymore. I had one of my cavity treated while I was in Japan. Ever since then, that tooth has been somewhat sensitive. About a year after that, the tooth I had treated became very very sensitive. So I called in and made an appointment for a check up. So when I went in, doctor at the time seemed very busy with other patients. There were people waiting in the lobby. After I was called in and seated, doctor asked me about the symptom so I explained that my tooth which I had treated for cavity became so sensitive to the point where it hurts. He then took X-ray of the tooth in question, didn’t even bother looking into my mouth, didn’t even take a look at the X-ray, and just told me to make an appointment for root canal treatment. He then escorted me out. He may have had past experiences to base off the assumption that I needed to have my root canal removed, I don’t know. But with how he responded, it made me question whether I should really have my teeth treated with this doctor. So after I left, I researched on line about pros and cons of removing root canal. After reviewing both pros and cons, I didn’t want my root canal removed. My boyfriend suggested that I try using tooth paste for sensitive teeth. So I did, and now that tooth doesn’t hurt anymore. I’m glad I didn’t have my root canal removed… Despite my rant above, good thing about this dentistry is that they do try to keep the cost minimal. So for that, I give 2 stars.
