At first I came here before with a friend and we both ordered hot tea & it was fine. And today I came with my other friend. First of all, the Korean lady at the café doesn’t even greet you with«welcome» or «hello». But whatever. Then she just stares at you awkwardly before you order anything. So I ordered ice cream & my friend didn’t want to order and the lady was forcing my friend to order something & pretty much shoving the menu book in my friend’s face. That’s so rude and unwelcoming! Cute place, pretty alright desserts but terrible service! Not going back anymore.

YOUHAVETOORDERINORDERFORTHEOWNERWHOISANOLDKOREANLADYFORYOUTOBEWELCOME. She was forcing me to order something. When I told her two times no I’m not ordering anything. she said«ONEORDERPERPERSON». She doesn’t want people sharing food. She was so rude and impolite. Like having a tantrum I didn’t order and was just sitting down next to my friend. Other reviews are correct. She’s only nice to Korean people.

The sweet potato latte here is very good. The atmosphere is great for studying. The tables and chairs are very comfortable and they play classical music! The fish bread with red bean is rather disappointing. The 3 I received had very little red bean stuffing(and I usually like my stuffing light). The bread must have been sitting around for a bit before I received it because the bottoms were soft with only the top half crispy. And the service is not so good if you’re not korean…

This is a cozy Korean café. Run by a lady owner. Small space but plenty of seats. They have variety of drinks and desserts. This is my 2nd time ordering sweet potato latte here. Never disappoint.

The drinks aren’t too bad, but the staff definitely needs work on customer service skills. I arrived at 10:15pm, 45 minutes before they were scheduled to close. The barista was behind the counter washing dishes for 3 minutes before finally acknowledging my girlfriend and I. Finally when we received our drinks, they were in to-go cups even though we did not ask for them. Will most likely not be returning.

Lol«free wifi». They don’t have wifi. Customer service? Only expect it to be good if you’re Korean.

I like this place as soon as you walk in you feel very relax. The drinks are pretty good. I give it 3 stars only because it’s a bit too quiet!!! Library quiet! and older crowd… Daddy old other than that it’s pretty good

Delicious red bean fish, shaved ice and fruit, and drinks. Respect the owner because she often has to do everything alone. Just be considerate and you’ll have a good time and be treated right.

I came here to get a drink and the old woman immediately told me this isn’t a place to study in a very rude tone. I just wanted some boba… I promptly left. Very strange experience.

DONOTCOMEHEREIFYOUARETRYINGTOFIND A PLACETOSTUDY. The owner immediately kicked me out when she saw me bringing in my backpack inside of the café. She asked me if I was going to study here and when I said yes, she told me to go out. This is not the only time she did this. Few weeks before this happened, my friends and I ordered drinks and food from the café and while we were waiting for the drinks, we took out our materials to study with. When the owner saw this, she asked us to leave the café. I told her that we have ordered the drinks and food so why should we leave this place and she asked who ordered what. When she found out that one of my friends did not order a drink(but we ordered extra snacks and food), she told that person to leave the café. This is a horrible place. Do not come here.

NOT a welcoming, friendly place. The owner is an old Korean woman and she just kicks you out if you study in her café. She is extremely rude and impolite. I would understand if her shop was full of customers or something but it isn’t! It’s just full of older Korean people like her and they probably talk as long as the time one would need to study or relax there. They only get 1 star because their drinks are actually good. I recommend ONLY going if she isn’t working. Overall, I don’t recommend going in general, there are other better cafes nearby. Don’t waste your time here. I have never complained about a place before but this place deserves one.

So yah, I don’t usually write reviews but let’s be honest, this 2.5 stars is giving this place too much credit. Sub-standard service and product, cluttered environment, and uncomfortable vibe from owner/workers. Definitely not a place I’d recommend nor return to. Good luck Coffee Date, you’re gonna need it to stay in business.

Apparently only locals and regulars are served here because I must have stood at the counter, money hand to order coffee for 8 minutes without any acknowledgement whatsoever.

This place was small, but it is nice and cozy. I love it! It’s a great place to study, hang out, go on a date, or just to grab coffee/drinks. I think I ordered a caramel late and it was delicious. My boyfriend’s drink was good too but I like mine better. We will definitely come back.

this is straight up korean coffee place. the owner seems like he’s OG korean. so she would be but rude and don’t give a fudge cake if you complain. but she was nice to me not because i was special or korean but idk… i would recommend the misgaru frap, its little bit on the sweet side but you can always get it less sweet, it made of grain so if your not into fibrous texture, don’t order this. my other favorite is purple yam latte. i say that this drink«seems» unique to other places. the space is very limited and they do ask you to move at times due to «surprise» large group. at times they have old people come in and some are drunk so it get really loud. i don’t like the fact that people are allowed to smoke right outside, and some time the smoke go in the area.

I absolutely love this place! The owner was really sweet and kind, I don’t understand how others are complaining about her. The service does take a bit long, but it’s well worth it. The coffee was amazing and the Belgium waffle was so well prepared. I’d prefer boba from other places, but it’s not horrible. Also, the atmosphere is really sweet and laid back. The ideal place for a study date or quick dessert. I really look forward to coming back again and trying their shaved ice!

The misugaru frapp is so delicious! Didn’t interact with the owner too much, but she definitely isn’t welcoming and looks upset.

Wow, what’s up with the low ratings?!! This is a super adorable place and first full service boba tea place I’ve ever been to! We walked in and went straight to the counter to order, as you do with all similar boba/tea/coffee/smoothie places. But when the lady asked if it we were ordering for here or to go, she lead us to a table with menus when we responded«for here.» Cute table settings sectioned off with partitions so it felt cozy and private. Loved that! They have a wide selection of all the items I mentioned above. Be warned, lots of teas but only one type of milk tea. I randomly picked ginger iced tea with boba. It was very tasty, with almond and ginger bits. Quite interesting! I’d so get that again! I also tried the pomegranate iced tea and that was very pomegranate-e, good flavor! No research, thought, time or effort was put into scouting this place out, we picked the spot closest to dinner just to have a drink right after. This was truly a case of expect the unexpected, and it exceeded our expectations! Yaaaay! Love when spontaneity prevails!

The best meesook garu frap ever!!! And my hubby’s favorite place for lattes, especially the caramel latte. They also have amazing boonguh bbang. These three are must gets! The décor has a charming homey feel to it, especially at night. Love this place!

Sat our self down, got the menu. Sat for 15 minutes before someone came over to take our order, but that was only because we waved someone down. So the drinks came out about 10 minutes later, one at a time. Our server brought the first one and said latte? I was like what kind? She said Latte, I said what kind? she said latte, I finally said we all ordered some type of latte, which one is it, pumpkin, white chocolate, caramel? So instead of bringing our drinks all out at once they staggered, one by one every few minutes. Sadly I wouldn’t let anyone drink until I get my drink, so I can take a picture of all of them together. It took a while to get all our drinks and after we got them, we had to let it cool down because they were super hot. Everyone’s latte had some sort of art work in it. Not like we were there for latte art but it kept us entertained for a while. One latte had something I decided to call a squish bug, no one could make anything out of it, The heart one looked like an ass, I even pointed out the crack, but if you flip it it could also be an onion. My drink had the nicest drawing, my friend said its because I was Asian, anyways, it had what were probably leaves. Yes, I have a wild imagination. The pumpkin latte didn’t have any art work on it, however, it came in a glass mug and I was told it tasted like a potato. I am assuming that they probably made the sweet potato latte instead since it was pale yellow and didn’t have an orangey pumpkin color. This place wasn’t very busy and the patrons that were there were all older Korean people Everyone was just sitting there socializing with each other. Didn’t felt rush at all, like the other reviews stated. My group consisted of a mutt, a meixcan and a white girl. I was the only Asian in the group and I’m not even Korean. There was no one hour limit. After we got our drinks we were invisible! I kinda wish there was that hour limit though so I can get the freaken bill and leave! One of my friend suggested Dine and Dash considering we felt invisible. We had to get off our lazy ass to tell someone that we wanted to pay so we can go home. Verdict of this place. Well the drinks are hot! Good thing right? How did they tasted? Didn’t wow me or anyone in my group and it seems like we all agreed that we don’t care to return and that we should of gone to the coffee code instead.
