I have been using Caremax since 2009, and have had a pleasant experience with the pharmacy staff up until these last 2 weeks. This is particularly concerning the medical equipment department. I have been in need of a new walker for the past month. Got the prescription for it, faxed it, and have been waiting ever since. There is only Mia(I think that’s how it’s spelled) who handles those requests, and I can barely understand her, and she definitely doesn’t understand me half the time, so I have to repeat myself. I called once a week to find out what was going on, and each time I was told that someone would call me back. After 3 times of hearing that nonsense, I finally let out my frustration with the girl on the phone, and FINALLY Mia calls back saying they are waiting on the Dr. I call my Dr who says they haven’t received anything! I call back again today, only to be greeted with a rude ass receptionist or whatever her job title is. Every time you ask her something she just says ok. I was like, «okay you have the right fax number, or are you just telling me ok??» Like what the fuc? She didn’t even want to check which Dr. I was talking about or verify that it was the correct fax number. Come to find out they have a different Dr. they’ve been sending faxes to. They didn’t read the number on the prescription!!! Ugh, now it’s like starting all over again! The rest of the pharmacy and billing dept. would get 4 stars in my book, but the medical equipment department is a nightmare if you have medicare, with the rudest biatch assistant ever. Do not get med equipment from them at all costs, unless you want to wait over a month!
