Salvatore Espresso Systems

I took my time finding a replacement for our old espresso machine. I had the opportunity to visit Solvang to see the machines and meet Salvatore and I wasn’t disappointed. Compared to any machine on the market, his machines are incredible. I’m an engineer by trade, and these are the machines that I would try to build!
We’ve named our machine «Sally» and look forward to a lifetime of perfectly pulled espresso.

We’ve had Salvatore machines for over 12 years and have loved the quality of the equipment and the shot. It’s quite a piece of equipment… we’d tried other machines between 1994 and our first Salvatore purchase in 2002. We wouldn’t switch to any other machine.
In 2012 we upgraded to the E61 head and love it. Our old Salvatore machine is still in use by my sister… who still texts me…“another great latte this morning. Thanks for passing the machine on to me”.
Noises can be a sign of an issue developing. Sometimes an unusual noise before the pump cycles can be a lubrication issue on the «O» ring in the system… try clearing it by opening the valve to pull the shot… or open up the machine to get to the lines that feed the pump and lubricate that «O» ring. If you don’t feel comfortable doing that, ask for coaching and/​or take it to a person who is comfortable working with equipment. I can imagine the frustration one can experience trying to get their espresso… I’ve turned into an espresso snob and won’t go to most coffee houses because of the poor pull… very often using a burnt roast with the resulting shot being over or under-drawn…which can actually but a real kink in how my day starts.

Simply put, best espresso machine I’ve ever owned. Great customer service. This guy is an artist. Ours is used multiple times daily with just great results. We’ve had ours for 3 years now

Almost 4 years with a semi-​auto made here, used multiple times a day, and not a a problem yet. Espresso that comes out of this machine is as good as the best cafes. Salvatore is an artist and a craftsman. There aren’t enough of them these days. Now if he’d only come up with a dual boiler e61 PID machine!!!
