Pax Amicus Castle Theatre

I remember seeing Charlie Brown at this adorable children’s theatre as a child. I have taken my children there and now my daughter has been on stage there. A wonderful introduction to the theatre for any child!

Was here to see a performance of «It’s a Wonderful Life» last Saturday night.
Cute little theater tucked away in the middle of nowhere. I mean NOWHERE! Without GPS I’m certain I wouldn’t have made it out of that wooded area alive. It’s off a highway or main road but once you turn off, it’s like you’ve completely left all civilization. Just tons of creepy trees and dark, poorly maintained roads. The one to the theater leads right into a body of water so drive slowly!
Other than difficulty finding it, the show itself was what you would expect for $ 20 theater tickets. Low budget sound effects and costumes but still overall a good, entertaining show filled with Christmas spirit. The theater was a bit cold but during intermission they were selling tea, coffee and hot chocolate for $ 2 along with candy and soda. They were also selling photo albums for $ 1 to help raise money for a new roof.
If you’re in the area, I’d recommend catching a show and supporting local performing arts.
