First Class Child Development Center

There are better choices in the same area than this place. Security is an issue, the owner/​director is strange and a bit judgemental, which lowered points with me pretty quickly. Children are not perfect, nor are their parents, and the owner has some strange idea in her head that her school is above perfection, and that all who attend there must also be up to ‘her’ standards. She’s quick to turn you away if she feels she may not like you upon first impression, and I know five families for starters, including myself, that have removed kids from there. She fails to realize she’s providing a service to paying customers. She’s been known to overstep her bounds with a few of my friends who had their kids there and finally got fed up with her too.

Our experiences with this facility were shaky from the start and got worse the longer we had our child there.
For starters, the facility itself is not secure and is easily accessible by anyone.
They have a large outdoor play area but it gets muddy and the children are never cleaned off after outdoor play. So if you have anywhere to go after picking up your child, be prepared to take them filthy dirty.
While some of the teachers are very nice, there are some assistant teachers that don’t rate much above a young babysitter.
The director makes a big deal about trying to follow certain state guidelines which seem irrelevant for a daycare. She was adamant that our child not be brought in after a certain hour as to not disrupt «class». We paid a huge amount of money for this service and they were being pretty stingy about how we used it. So basically if I wanted to drop off my child for a couple of hours while I went to an appointment, that would be frowned upon because I «disrupted» class.
There are plenty more issues we had but this gets the gist across…
