Black and blue salad is overpriced. Iceberg lettuce, no croutons, very sparse meat, bacon, or cheese crumbles. Yuck

Enjoyed our first-time lunch at Cornerstone. Had the Reuben – great, Cowboy burger – good(But overcooked. Next time will specify medium even though we were not asked how we wanted it cooked), and the Catfish-excellent! All came with an abundance of french fries – mediocre(previously frozen and unseasoned). However, we had a great experience and the waitress was very nice! Was told on Friday’s it is all-you-can-eat catfish and the line is out the door. We will get there early for that! Cannot wait to go back! Thanks, Cornerstone!

Had the club, Rueben and potato skins, all were great. Onion rings rocked also. Definitely will be back.

Great little diner. Locally owned and operated so the service is terrific. Love the chicken and catfish dinners. Solid daily specials but don’t miss their Sunday after church buffet.

Decided on dinner at a local place I had not been in years since it had changed names and mgmt. checked Unilocal and the cornerstone had a surprisingly high rating so we went. Noticed first off that it was very comfortable inside with a lot tvs although they were turned down so they didn’t interrupt the conversation. Unlike the past they now have a full bar and had 5 brews on tap plus bottles, the ladies had wine. Had the green tomato apps and they were thick and tasty. Surprisingly live entertainment began with a solo artist and he was pretty good. Three of us went for the special which was a ribeye, potato and salad and our 4th had the salmon which she thought was good. I will tell you the steak was so perfectly done and seasoned that none of us touched the steak sauce. We all had the baked potatoes and all of us thought they were done perfectly I will tell you the desserts were tempting but we were all too full. I was impressed and wish I had been there sooner.

We were in Buckner for a lacrosse tournament at the Y near by held over a weekend. In between games on Saturday we decided to go to the Cornerstone Café for quick beverage. The staff was courteous, welcoming and very nice. We sat at the bar and had the fried pickles as a snack. They were delicious and made fresh right there in the kitchen by Steven the cook that day. When we were getting ready to leave, the server invited us to come back for the Sunday buffet where they would be serving home made pot roast with veggies and their famous fried chicken. We did go back Sunday for the buffet. The pot roast with gravy, potatoes, carrots and celery was the best I had ever eaten; even better than my own. Few words to describe how good the fried chicken was but let me say all three of us said it was the best fried chicken ever! The biscuits were fresh and homemade as were the mashed potatoes and for a wonderful ending we had the delicious peach and mixed berry cobblers. If you are ever in the area of Cornerstone Café on a Sunday between 11 and 3, don’t pass by; stop in you wont regret.
