While the quality of the work is fine, the pick up/​delivery charge is a complete rip-​off.
Without mentioning a price, the owner told me there would be a charge to cover delivery and pick up costs for my loveseat. Since I am less than a half-​mile from the shop, I figured it couldn’t be much. Imagine my shock when I was charged $ 100 EACH WAY for pick up and delivery. Not only is the price totally unreasonable, the fact that it was not disclosed up front is, in my opinion, underhanded.
I have since found out that a number of upholstery shops in the area charge NOTHING for local pick up and delivery. I will definitely go elsewhere next time.
