I really liked this spot and I do recommend it for quick take-out Pros: + Lunch specials — I got the orange chicken and it does come with a large portion of chicken, rice, and a side dish. Even though it’s just supposed to be a «lunch» portion, it’s definitely big enough for to meals +Sushi specials — OMG this is simply the best. Where else can you get two rolls for around $ 7!!! A California and a spicy salmon combo — what a great choice! + Online ordering — it’s such a convenient menu if you want to order take out. It only takes a few minutes and is extremely quick + Free delivery! — I’m not sure if there is are any restrictions, but for my orders, I wasn’t charged a delivery fee. Cons: — Do not get the tempura ice cream — this ended up melting on the fifteen minute ride home. Delicious ice cream though — Parking/entrance — It is nigh impossible to enter the parking lot. Word of advice, if you want to come here, turn as soon as you can spot the movie theater. It’s entirely connected and turning in too early beats having to make two U-turns around the freeway if you overshoot

Food is good, the atmosphere is nice. I made a reservation online, and they were not prepared for us. However, do NOT use online reservation. The host had no idea we were coming and I made the reservations 2 days ahead.

The menu is confusing but don’t let that discourage you! The Hot and Sour Soup is the best in BCS and the plates come with a large amount of food!

Worst sushi I have ever eaten, we ordered a California roll and a spicy tuna roll, and could not even finish it all, it was so bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The fortune cookie was the best part of the meal.

This is a great place to eat especially hibachi. The other places in town are more pricey. This is definitely my go to restaurant for Asian food! Delicious!

Delicious Chinese food. Great portions and fair prices. It has a nice ambience inside. I ordered for pick up a couple of times and the food is always ready and hot in a very timely manner. One of my new favorites for sure!

Couldn’t find the wine I ordered, confused my food order, refused to take the order back and asked me to pay for another meal. I never even got to taste the food. Really off putting.

So I finally get to write a 5 star review here in the Brazos Valley! This place is fantastic, ambiance, food, and service that are all spot on. I enjoyed the conversation with the Sushi Chef«Stan», and based my order on his recommendations. I wasn’t disappointed! I had sashimi, 2 rolls, and took some Gen Taos shrimp to go for dinner. It was all prepared to perfection. And the servers kept me well taken care of, and entertained. I could go on, and on, but instead I’ll just say do yourself a favor and go check it out!

This place is amazing! I came here before a movie once by chance, and decided to try their sushi. I’m from Dallas so I have had some pretty impressive sushi but this place was one of the best places I’ve ever been! I tell everybody about it:)

Stopped in by chance since I had missed an exit in pursuit of another restaurant. Was not sure what to expect as this place is on the other end of BCS for me and did not know anything about it. Ordered the spicy edamame and they were very good with chili powder and siricha sauce. A nice change. The tuna tekai was also very good with a hint of ponzu and kset barely seared. Very nice presentation. The Seafood Delight was a mix of squid, clams and crab mixed in a nice white brother. It was mixed in with a variety of Asian veggies. The staff was very friendly and had a good sense of the menu and specialty items. I will definitely make the trip from SoCo back out to Imperial Chinese & Sushi again. I am curious to try the sushi.

Finally, after reading many diverse reviews, we’ve made it here for dinner. The service is very good. The sushi/sashimi were also of a very good quality. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to see how wide is their variety of fish. Then, why isn’t it 5 star rating? I am frequently puzzled like that over other people reviews, when they praise the place, writing that everything was great, but give 3 stars. For the lack of thinking. And here is the«Love Story». We ordered a «love boat» combination that describes what sashimi and nigiri is included, and explicitly says«2 of each», which given the name of the combination makes sense. Since we ordered it for two adults, it was also convenient for us. When the boat arrived(a well done arrangement, btw!), except for the 8-piece A&M roll and cucumber, NO items were in even numbers: Nigiri were all single pieces(total of 5), and sashimi were all in triplets.(And I thought this area of TX was conservative in the views on number of people involved in «love», but maybe not at this restaurant.) Here is the photo: Not a big deal, you’d think, except for the inconvenience of sharing. We agreed on the same, and since everything else and especially the taste were good, we decided not to make a big deal of it, but just to mention it to the waitress. So we did, explaining here the odd-number issue and that it doesn’t correspond to the description. The response was a bit weird. She came back after talking to the sushi chef and said that«due to the variation of what is available, it is chef’s choice».(Well, I am ok with that, and that’s how it is frequently done at other places where they don’t spell out the content in the menu) ” … including the quantity”. … And then she continued that if we didn’t have enough, we can order more. We expressed that we didn’t mind that much the substitution, but the advertized even quantity would’ve been still convenient. A moment later, a manager came to ask what was the problem. Since I was away, the other person explained to the manager the issue of even numbers. The reaction was indicating that the manager remained clueless.

Plus half a star. Good place. Tried the sweet and sour chicken. And the general Tso chicken. Both very good. There lunch special is reasonably priced. Although the lunch special menu is a bit confusing. Nevertheless a good clean location not too far from college station area.

Arrived in town early for an Aggie game and wanted to eat light. Fabulous place! Hot and Sour was excellent, simple Alaskan roll was the best ever, and the signature new dish Pecan Chicken was the best I’ve ever had! A MUSTSTOP!

Customer service here was excellent. Our waitress was prompt, polite, and very attentive. We also had other waiters/waitresses checking on us as they walked by, even though we were not in their section. We ordered the Tuna Nachos for an appetizer, which were VERY good, but I wish it were on a thicker chip. We then shared the Salmon Mania Sushi Roll, which was a good portion, well priced, and packed with lots of spicy salmon. Then we moved on to the Chicken Katsu, which was good, but definitely not authentic Chicken Katsu. Although the Katsu sauce and rice were very good. The kids got Chicken Fried Rice kids meal, which came with an egg roll, and 2 pieces of California Roll. It was a large serving, and they could have easily shared one. They loved it! For dessert we had the Taro Bubble Tea, which was soooooo good, but not authentic bubble tea with tapioca pearls in it. They had the coconut jelly at the bottom, which I love, so it didn’t bother me one bit. Our entire meal listed above was $ 40, which I thought was very good for an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 kids meals, and dessert. Would definitely go back, especially to explore the rest of their extensive menu.

Imperial Chinese & Sushi opened officially today and my wife and I just returned from the Grand Opening. My how Bryan & College Station foodies sure love to rush a new restaurant. At 7 pm the parking lot was full, with crowds of people parking behind it and flocking in by the droves. We were mildly concerned about how long it might take to get a seat when 15 people walked in right before us with another half dozen right behind us. So how was it? An awesome dining experience with every detail nailed to perfection. Due to the fact that we just had two in our party we were seated almost instantly and Michael who served us seemed cheerful and welcoming ~ a surprise prelude to what would end up being a fun and memorable night food and remarkable service combined. Most people that know me know that my wife is Asian and there’s always that question that comes up «Hey Greg, what’s the best Chinese food in BCS?» Well, she is Japanese but we like all Asian foods. While we ordered from the Chinese menu(appetizer sampler) and Japanese menu(Sushi rolls & Nigiri(Japanese word for grab)) technically what we ordered and 95% of other«Asian» in Bryan and College Station serve are American Asian Fusion developed in the United States. Will try more authentic Chinese on our next visit. We started with Japanese and Chinese beer(Kirin Ichiban(Means #1 in Japanese) & Tsingtao(Means blue island in Chinese)). We also enjoyed Shirakabe Gura Tokubetsu Junmai Sake from Kyoto Japan which was remarkably fresh. One of the freshest Sake examples that my wife and I have found in the US. The appetizer plate with three types of sauce came of very hot at a proper serving temperature and the texture of the dumplings, two types of egg rolls and cream cheese puffs were I believe the best we have ever found in Aggieland, of their type. Just total perfection. The shrimp roll in particular had a lot of sweet lovely shrimp stuffed inside.(Speaking of shrimp this is a shrimp lovers place as one entire section of the menu is all shrimp). Next came our Japanese picks of Deluxe Rolls; Namesake ~ The Imperial Roll(Crab, Spicy Tuna, Soft Shell Crab, Avocado, Crunches, Tobiko, Eel Sauce, Spicy Mayo, Wasabi Mayo) and the Aggie Roll II(Spicy Crawfish, Avocado, Imitation Crab, Eel Sauce, Spicy Mayo, Sriracha). These rolls are powerful contenders with other noteworthy locals such as 40 Tempura, Aji Sushi, Azure and Kamei. One of the real shockers was our desert of choice, Hotate-Scallop Nigiri. Apparently the Chef and/or fish buyer for this restaurant has gone right to the best source of the freshest possible available fish in this part of Texas. The quality was surprising and almost stunning. I highly suspect that Fred & Fred Seafood Market might have something to do with this supply. In summary, even if you don’t know what all of this is that I just mentioned, don’t worry. There is a quite large menu and while my wife and I spent $ 20 each before drinks, you can very easily eat here and be full for under $ 10 per person, less for kids and there is a kids menu. Prices are fair(I noticed a group of lunch specials for under $ 7). Servers can help making choices from the menu. Speaking of the staff they are easy to see here as they have cool uniforms and there’s a lot of staff. Seems to consist of college kids to locals and in our case Michael — one of the most talented servers I have ever run into in BCS. He mentioned working for some other restaurants in the area before and he was top notch. Our food took a while to get but it was fine as we arrived on Grand Opening with tons and tons of other people. Michael made our visit so much fun as we were tired, hot and hungry when we got there and totally happy when we left. I have no reservations about recommending Imperial Chinese and Sushi to anyone for a great Asian food experience in a comfortable and relaxing trendy cool looking restaurant. Music was nice and the perfect level and if you want to keep up with the games they have a huge projection TV. Really fun place, great for dates or family night out, before or after a movie or any time you want Asian in Aggieland. We plan on being regulars here.
