I had Epicures cater my wedding a few months ago and I would not recommend it to anyone. No one knew what they were doing, important items were forgotten on the big day, and I was shuffled around to different people during the planning process. Such a disappointment. Keep looking!

Wow! This is the go to caterer in the Brazos Valley. Epicures offers custom catering and bar service for any event imaginable. Their professional wait staff was in fact professional and the food was top tier. The price was perfect compared to the compliments I received from my guests. If you are having a event in the area then Epicures should be the first place you call.

Seemed as though there was nobody running the show who knew what they were doing. There was no fruit at the bar(limes, lemons, etc.), no cocktail napkins with cocktail hour, the brisket was tasteless with NOBBQSAUCE(the worse offense), and they dumped fruit and cheese in a pile ONTHETABLE instead of on trays after the meal. I was not impressed. They ran out of water and ice. Overall, I would not recommend them. The bartender himself was awesome, though.

We used Epicures Catering for our wedding slightly out of town in early November. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, and months of changing the details on our order and asking repetitive questions, Danny and Brooke at Epicures Catering were perfectly helpful, professional, and accommodating for all of our needs! Our event flowed smoothly thanks to their capable hands, and the food was delicious, even after traveling! The service during the reception was prompt and helpful, the lime chicken was juicy and nicely seasoned. I am very bummed I didn’t get to try the chicken tortilla casserole but everyone who did try it said it was excellent! All in all, 5⁄5 stars for Epicures Catering! The food was delicious, they were extremely helpful and patient during the planning process, and the service the day of our event was problem-free! I would recommend Epicures to anyone looking for a catering company in town that will work with you to make the details of your event stand out, and to keep it affordable and stress-free! Thank you, Danny and Brooke :)

After driving by this restaurant at least a thousand times we finally had an opportunity to eat here today. While this used to be open to the public like 10 years ago or something, according to a College Station native we dined with, it is now only open to private parties and they do catering apparently. The food we ate today was served buffet style and my wife and I each ate two entire plates thus trying everything offered. While I have no idea what cost was involved as a company paid the tab, everyone in our group of about 90 people seemed quite pleased. What was served was traditional American food, quite well suitable for our office Christmas party. The salad was very fresh, in fact remarkably fresh considering the lettuce situation in North America at present. Two types of dressing, thousand island and Italian vinaigrette. While I am not a huge salad fan, I really enjoyed this one as the fresh thinly sliced purple onions really set it off. Now for some reason it seems that being a vegetarian is like some sort of trend right now, like how wearing a Members Only jacket used to be cool, but now it’s dorky. Ya know? A lot of people had posted requests on the company website asking for vegetarian and they got it. They out-represented us red meat lovers. So we were served chicken breasts in a white sauce(slightly dry breasts but only by very picky standards) and a pasta with marinara sauce, zuchinni and squash. My wife detected a horseradish type heat in the sauce, but being a pepper quaffing leather-throat I could not pick up that flavor or heat rather. Iced tea was exceptionally fresh and as you can see by my stealth photo of the kitchen(yeah!) it’s Lipton. It was not real hard to get a refill, like 7 times. I was super thirsty. Staff was nice and friendly and knew some of the people in our party personally. So. Need a place for a company lunch? I’d say this is a winner if the price is right. I suspect the company spent less this year than the past several years of our banquets and this served the purpose quite well.
