The good: Affordable packages. More candid shots than posed portraiture, which I love. Chris was very flexible when my bridal portrait venue completely forgot my appointment; he improvised to get me at least a few good shots. Wedding day went smoothly. Good quality photos/video/album. David Miyauchi was a pleasure to work with. The bad: Our contract said to expect our photos within 1 – 3 weeks of our wedding. After 4 weeks, I contacted Chris to see what the problem was since we were planning on using a wedding photo on our thank you cards and needed to get those in the mail soon. He told me my photos would be ready in a couple of days. Another week went by, so I contacted him again. This time he apologized, saying he had weddings all weekend long and would start working on my pictures right away. He said he was halfway done and should finish in a few days. Another week went by(I gave up and sent out generic thank you cards), and I noticed that all of the other weddings that took place the same weekend(and even a couple of weeks after ours) had their photos already posted on the website. Finally, 2 months after our wedding, we got our photos. His reasoning was that he gave the March photos to 3 different editors and«some editors are slower than others. I can’t control that.» My question is then why put a time frame in the contract if it isn’t even under your control? We finally received our wedding video in late September and our photo album and prints in late December. In conclusion: While Delight Studio is affordable, I would suggest looking for a photographer that limits the number of weddings they book so that they can ensure more individual attention to each customer. Dealing with Chris at Delight Studio was incredibly frustrating at times. All I ask for is clear, honest communication and professionalism to match the value and quality of his service. I feel like I would have been waiting forever if I hadn’t constantly checked on the status of things. (I also posted this review on weddingwire)

I will not be hiring Delight Studio for any future photography or videography needs. My experience was not pleasant and I was not happy with the photos or customer service.
