I won’t ever step foot in this place again. While eating lunch there the owner was at a table with his friends they we’re carrying on so loud & cursing in the presence of elderly people & children that I was totally disgusted. This man was running for a political seat & his behavior was horrible. If you own a business conduct yourself like a gentleman & be respectful to your customers, people with children don’t want you & your buddies spewing profanities in front of small children. UGH

Buppy and his team did an amazing job catering our wedding. They came out to reception hall and cooked onsite. We had chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, mixed vegetables, dinner rolls, salad, and 2 different dressings. Buppy’s provided the linens for the tables that they used and matched our colors perfectly. Not only was the food amazing and delicious, but they also stayed around to help refill drinks, they had some pre made drinks for us when we got there, they served our food and made sure that nobody else are until my husband and I did, they even stayed after to help clean everything up. They very polite and helpful to anybody who needed anything. Buppy’s did a superior job with the job with all of the food and drinks. I will definitely be recommending Buppy’s to our family and friends for dinner as well as catering for any and all events. On behalf of my husband and myself I would just like to give y’all a great big thank you for such an amazing and wonderful wedding dinner. It would not of been possible without the wonderful staff at Bubby’s.

I like barbecue. I know barbecue. I’ve eaten it all over the United States, and all over Texas. Buppy’s is the single worst barbecue I’ve had in Texas. We used to use them at catered work events until we had to stop. It was that bad. The problem was simple: the brisket was super dry, tough, and under seasoned. Consistently. This is Texas’s signature barbecue contribution and if you can’t do it right, get out of the business. We now use Kreuz. The two stars are for the fried catfish. I don’t like fried food or catfish. Buppy’s fried catfish are probably the best in town. Greaseless, and with a light cornmeal crust. Really good.

Awesome Sunday brunch option. We arrived just as they opened. This place fills up quickly with good reason. The food was fresh and tasted great. Not a fancy place but great eating!

CATERING — I DONOTTRUST Buppy’s Committment and Follow Through I heard good things about Buppy’s. I sent an email request on a Saturday, and FIVE(5) business days later I got a quote. Kristin offered to listen to feedback and make changes; however, when I immediately replied with requested changes and questions, I never heard back from her. It has been 9 days now since I received the quote. I stopped by Buppy’s in person on Saturday at 12:30PM to talk to Kristin, but she had just left for the day… even though the listed hours were for another 2 hours. If I have to chase down this caterer just to get our quote/proposal settled, what can I expect from them on the day of my important event?! No more chasin Buppy’s!!!

For $ 10 all inclusive, good deal for good food. Buffet might be limited and the décor is non existent, but the chicken fried steak and chicken fingers were done well. Definitely will be back.

I’ve had Buppy’s catering before at events throughout BCS, but my last visit to the restaurant wasn’t my favorite. I went on a Friday, which they advertise as Fish/Catfish day, so I ended up paying 11 dollars for it, which was fine. Except with the long lines and so many people coming in and out, I had to wait quite a bit to even get some fish, and I never was able to get any shrimp, which is always my favorite. I would have stuck around, but I only get an hour for lunch… and I guess I didn’t think I should have had to stick around to wait for food when I had been there for an hour. I guess I was just disappointed because this was one of my few«cheat meals» for the week and I had been excited to try the Fish Friday, but ultimately only ended up with a few pieces of fish, a weird salad, and some potato casserole instead of mac and cheese. I’d love to give Buppy’s another try if my office goes there again, but I probably will never got on Friday again… it just wasn’t worth it.

Great food, never had anything there that I didn’t like or absolutely love. I can’t even think of anything specific to comment on – it’s all so good!

Got a chance to try a take out BBQ plate from the buffet here recently and was very happy with it. For a set price you can cram as many of the meats and sides as you can for take out and it took several days to finish it at home. Kind of a secret, but everyone in BCS has heard of Buppy’s. While they do catering and at one point the restaurant was being closed, public demand from a huge group of the same old customers has kept it open. Well hell, now the secret is out on Unilocal.:) I loved their food, it’s not stellar BBQ that you’d have to drive 100 miles for, but it’s pretty damn good and the take out all you can eat /cram in the container is really cool. Hearing this you college kids that can’t cook and only eat delivery? Go here once and get a huge amount of bbq that you can snack on for days.

Great lunch buffet! My friend told me to check this place out and I’m glad I did. I have been many times and its a great place to go once or twice a month. They have recently made some upgrades to the interior and added some covered outside seating. There days open have changed to Tuesday to Friday and with the cost of food going up so have there cost, but it’s still a good deal for lunch($ 9) for what you get and the quality. There peach cobbler was hands down the best I have had in BCS. If I wasn’t so full from the buffet I would have had a few more servings of it. There banana pudding is also some of the best that I have had in a long time. The place goes with the European style setting where you share the table space with others around you. Which I didn’t mind. Everyone was friendly.

$ 7.50 with drink and tax included, cannot go wrong with this place. All the items were hot and fresh, but it was somewhat limited in choices unlike Golden Corral. If you have tried Buppy’s catering before you know the taste LOL.
