Roy Rogers Family Restaurants

Drive thru: pulled up to the menu screen and waited for someone to ask for my order. Presently a young woman asks for my order and I tell her I would like a breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese and asked if I could have a slice of tomato instead of meat. She replied «what??!» And I repeated my request. She said «no we only put meat on our sandwiches». I said nevermind. There was no one behind me so I backed out, parked and went in. I was very surprised by the total lack of anything resembling customer service. There were two young women behind the counter, the one with the headset was obviously complaining to the other one about customers who don’t order menu items. I went over and said I had asked for egg cheese and tomato and wondered why that wasn’t possible. The clerk not taking window orders basically repeated the earlier phrase. I asked if she was saying that there are no variations or substitutions available, she replied «if you want tomato you can get it from the toppings bar». I didn’t point out that a restaurant employee who worked to have happy customers could also do that. I just left. I also didn’t point out that every time I’ve ordered this substitution at McDonalds, Burger King, Hardee’s, or anywhere else it’s been no problem. Oddly, a couple of years ago I considered the staff here to be top notch. Oh well, things change, and not for better.

Well the fries have gotten much better since my last post. They are almost always hot now. That’s the good news. Now the bad news. DON’T, DON’T, EVER order the fish platter. Apparently at one time it was actual fish filets. Now it is minced fish shaped into look-​a-​like shapes. I wouldn’t feed these to my pets. And when I say minced I mean fish paste. You can’t find anything identifiable as fish in this. They should be ashamed to sell this trash. They make the old fashioned fish sticks we ate as kids look like gourmet food. it’s a shame that once upon a time this was a great chain. Now the owners have other agendas apparently.

Whatever you do, don’t go here for FAST food… Even using the drive-​thru there is always some kind of hold up. And no, it isn’t because they are making fresh fried chicken and french fries. Unfortunately, this is one of the only «quick» restaurants that Brunswick offers. Our most recent experience here, the young woman working the window was rude, interrupted and all around had a terrible attitude. If you don’t like your job, you are young and there are plenty other options.

Sucked sucked do not go here ordered fmaily meal thing took 30 minutes for the 2 cars ahead of me to get there food then i wait almost 30 minutes at the window save your self the wait drive 20 mins to fredrick and get fresh food from kfc it save you 40 mins of waiting in line at a «FAST» food restaurant i only gave 1star because i have to 0 stars really just dont stop here

Total Metal. Spot on Money. Roast Beef sandwich drenched in BBQ sauce. This is my favorite Roys. If I lived around here I would be a regular.
