I live literally down the street from this place and man let me tell you that if you are in the mood for a good old fashioned sub then you must come here. The manager there is super friendly and has a great relationship with the customers. He’s informative and willing to help out any customer in any way. They have breakfast specials and hot sandwiches for lunch as well! Theres a bunch of chips drinks and hostess assortments for your picking to compliment your sub! I usually order a grilled chicken sandwich half on whole wheat with pepper jack cheese lettuce tomato onion and jalapenos with a side of chips or friends and it is insane how delicious it is. This is a good anytime spot if you need to fill that crave of hunger!

Very friendly people and the subs were huge. I may have felt a little funny later that night after eating half a tuna sub, but it could easily have been the terrible traffic over the GW Bridge that upset my insides!

Best sub I’ve had in awhile !!! Delicious the meat was not skimpy the give more than enough and I love the hot pepper spread, I recently started working in north Brunswick and crave their subs now not such a good thing lol but foods great would highly recommend them and the staff was kind and polite as well

Amazing subs! They don’t skimp on the meat and they offer deals for teachers and schools. Not like subway where all you taste is bread. Also placed a big order for breakfast sandwiches for a school and the employees were so kind and helpful and the food was ready on time and they gave us extras and were extremely fair with the price. And they tasted amazing! Even gave us steak and cheese breakfast sandwiches also extra bacon and eggs. Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place!

I had a craving for my favorite sub place today! Everything was perfect… From the amount of meat to the lettuce and tomato and the oil and vinegar! I know rich and chuck are reading the reviews! The owner even emailed me to make me a better sub! Great customer service!

Before I start, I will share, that I use to be a Tastee Sub junkie for many years!
No more, as Mr. Subs makes if not an identical Sub Sandwich an even better Hoagie… you know not too much meat, yet never skimpy just a perfect blend.
And unlike the other place the MS staff is always friendly and pleasant.
Oh and you can use your cell phone at Mr. Subs

I always get the same sub and really enjoy it. The fries aren’t as good though. Everytime I go they are pretty friendly and clean. Not the greatest in the world but overall good and will def go back.

Love this place. Bacon egg and cheese for breakfast. A reliable #5 for lunch. And it’s walking distance for me. :)
The people who work there are very friendly and they are so accommodating to special requests as well.
Love the freshness of their meats and veggies on a sandwich. Make sure you get a side of hot peppers. Yum!

I like this place. Owner is usually there, and super friendly. Consistantly good sandwiches, and very reasonably priced. I grab deli sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches there. Would reccomend. Much better than going to a Subway.

they need to display the meat case, not cover it with cardboard… makes people wonder what is behind it.
they do use some Boars Head, but do not advertise it?

Yum, super soft bread, choice of white or whole wheat, boars head meats, shredded lettuce, nice amount of meat. Every sub is made to order, sliced fresh in front of your eyes and put on your sub. Staff is friendly and patient when reading menu and picking options. 2nd time here, will be back again and again!

After Unilocaling subs in the NB area a familiar trusted Unilocaler John R’s banner rating drew me in for a quick bite. Glad it did.
$ 5.20 for a 8 in. Sub is a good deal any where. Fresh moist thinly sliced turkey on a fresh soft wheat sub roll with 2 strips of bacon diced lettuce & thinly sliced tomato went down nicely. Add a soda & chips and at $ 8.93 bon appetite.
Breakfast available all day at $ 5 or $ 6 for a plate full.
Great friendly service and clean environment. Only 5 or six tables. A lil light on the meat prevents a top rating, but all in all a good sub joint at a better price.

Still great! No change in my review, but they now have fresh made soup, made daily in-​house as well as an expanded breakfast.
Rich and Vic in the morning make this place great. If it weren’t for them, I’d probably hit up Mr. Subs a lot less. They’re also always great at suggesting new items I may like.

I grew up around the block, and have family and friends still in the area. I recently had a hoagie/​grinder/​hero/​sub discussion with folks where I live now, and no sandwich comes close to what you get from Mr. Subs. It’s so delicious, I actually crave ‘em when I’m away for too long.
I typically get turkey and provolone with everything and mayo, and also have had their breakfast sandwiches. They had omelettes as a special a while ago, and even made an omellette even when not on special.
Please-don’t ever change!
