This place is a joke. Went to fix a tire. It was brand new but I got a nail in it. They said that they had to replace all my new tires. They said they will dispose of the new tires for free. DONOTGOHERE!

I brought my car to these guys a year ago for a brake job and to have them look into an issue related to my rear wheel bearing. At the time, they quoted me an outrageous price for parts and labor – more than twice what I could buy the parts for myself just down the street at Napa. I refrained from writing a negative review then because I figure price gouging on a part is what these places do. But now I’m finding out that my rear brakes weren’t installed properly by these guys that I’m having to get not only new pads and rotors after 10,000 miles, but I’m having to get new calipers as well. I would have found the issue earlier, except one of my rear brake calipers got stuck open instead of closed. Aside from this issue, my girlfriend has also brought her truck in to have work done at Lee’s that she has then had to have redone elsewhere because it was done wrong. When we moved here, everyone swore by these guys, but so far they’ve been the worst mechanics we’ve ever dealt with.

I’ve been taking my personal vehicles to Lee’s at Cook’s Corner since the early 1990s. Little’s changed. You are treated as a valued customer, the staff always assesses the issue with your car/truck honestly. Whether you’re driving a brand new car, or an old beater, it doesn’t matter. Wayne Gagne and his team will treat you right. The last several years, I’ve been driving a newer car and had been going back to the dealership. I’m a Ford guy and love Ford products, but I hate the dealership service experience. Now that I’m over 100K and off my extended warranty, I’m back at Lee’s and am reminded of the difference yet again between Lee’s and probably most of the other repair shops out there. I’m sure that there are a few other places around that still do things the old-fashioned way(as in honest and dependable). I’m not planning to see them out because for me, Lee’s(at Cook’s Corner) is where I plan to stay for my auto repair needs.

This place is tops for customer service and value. I went once to get my brakes done, and after getting their quote, called my dearlership for a quote on the exact same job with the exact same brand of parts with the same warranty– the dealership quoted me a price that was almost 35% higher. I’ve been going there for the duration of three vehicles now, and have found Lee’s to be quick to get you in, prompt in the timeframe they give you for the repair, and always right on with the quoted cost. Great service from nice people at a better price works for me.
