Hampton Inn & Suites Brunswick

Worst Hampton Inn in memory. One bedside lamp with broken switch and the other with a bad switch and a burned out bulb. Very few outlets. Very noisy refrigerator made sleep difficult. Even with fan set on continuous low it cycled with a very noisy AC system. Bath fan ran continuously and was also irritatingly noisy. Bedside tables very small. Lots of other hotels within ¼ mile an a much lower price. Try one of those.

Amazing staff. Clean rooms and property. Cookies are warm. Coffee is fresh. Great breakfast. I’ll be back for sure

This was me and my husband’s favorite place to stay. We stayed here when we were on our way to Florida for our honeymoon, and when we were driving home we stopped here again. Absolutely loved it. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Our first stay, the woman upgraded us to a king suite (free of charge) and gave us a nice AAA discount. Only $ 117 and the room was gorgeous. Super clean and spacious. Bed was unbelievably comfortable. And we had a nice couch and kitchenette area with sink and fridge. In the morning, we had the free continental breakfast and it was the best free breakfast I have had at a hotel. Hot grits, oatmeal, sausage, eggs, waffles, you name it… Also fruit, cereal, Danishes, and a variety of juices and coffee. And everything was decorated so cute with little signs. The waffle bar had Oreos, fruit syrups, and whipped cream. The oatmeal bar had almonds and raisins and brown sugar. It was great. On our second stay, we were able to have the exact same room and same rate and it was another great experience. We were able to check in at 1pm, too. And didn’t have to check out until 12pm the next day! We used the pool and hot tub, which was also pretty nice. If I had to complain, I guess I would say the Wifi was slow, but we didn’t really use it that much. If you are traveling on I95… stop here! You won’t regret it.

Do not stay here if you need to work on the internet. By far, the worst wifi I have had to use since dialup, kept disconnecting.

Great hotel. The hotel was very clean and the staff was really friendly. Breakfast was equally as great.

I stayed here and the facility was great. Beds are great and the food was good (filled me up). My issue with the place was after I left. A day later I realized that I forgot both of my phone chargers in the room. They were both plugged into the center charging station that they have which is a great idea. One week later on the way back we called the hotel because we could stop by and get them. When I called we were immediately placed on hold for over 8 minutes without someone coming back to ensure we were still there. We hung up and called back and once again was getting ready to be placed on hold but we asked them when would be a better time to call back and the lady said 5 minutes. I have a hard time believing that this is the way a customer should be treated.
When we called they had no idea why we were calling so I could have been a future customer trying to check availability. If I was calling to check availability, having to wait almost 15 minutes to get through would mean you are too busy for my business. She was so busy she couldn’t take our number down to call us back when she was not busy. After waiting over 30 minutes later we finally called back and were able to speak to the front desk lady.
When I did call she was very polite and said that there is a closet where house keeping keeps items found in the room. As soon as she mentioned that I knew my chargers were in some house keepers home. First off, if you run an honest business and you find something in room ??? shouldn’t it be logged in as coming from room ??? so that a call could be made to that customer, after all, you do have all their contact information. Was that done… NO! In fact when I called they didn’t even ask what room I was in.
We explained that I forgot my charger and wanted to see if they were turned in and she said she would check. She called us back and ask me what kind of chargers I had and I described them to her and she said she would check and call us back. I explained to her to please check quickly because I would be driving by in 15 minutes and that I would pull off the highway if she had them. Needless to say I was never called back. I pulled off the highway anyways and stopped in to see if a face to face visit would help explain things. It did but not in the hotels favor. The young lady was at the desk on a personal call when I walked in and stood at the counter and stood there waiting as she finished. I explained who I as and she told me that she tried to call and let me know that she didn’t have it but the number was messed up and it didn’t go through. She called me earlier to ask me what kind of charger and what they looked like. Had she not made a personal call at work she may have been able to hit the redial button and call me back. The crazy thing is that both of these chargers are about $ 15 a piece but they taught me that this hotel doesn’t stress customer service or integrity to their staff.
There is no way that house keeping did not find two phone charging cords hanging off the center of the nightstand.

Very clean. Seemed very new. Breakfast was very good and they had boxes of cereal and not the bulk containers. Service was great! Love the included breakfast especially when traveling with kids!

It was clean, location was ok and the staff was very nice. Nice overnight stay.

Very clean and recently remodeled. SLOOOW internet (typical for Hilton properties). Speedtest ranked it an «F»…

This hotel chain is very well run and exceptionally clean! Great affordable hotel with business center, exercise room, and pool!
