Impersonal, rushed, poor result. My husband’s nails hardly looked different after his alleged manicure. My manicure was ok(because I really only needed polish), but super rushed. My Pedi was ok; but we paid more here than we would have other places.(I was thinking we’d get what we paid for, but nope.) Can not recommend this place. No pride of workmanship.

Absolute worst manicure I’ve ever had in my life. My nails look terrible– all different uneven lengths and color all over my fingers he did not clean up. Not to mention that he used his dirty fingernail to scrape off my previous gel manicure which was painful, ineffective and unhygienic. He never even put a towel down or had me wash my hands in the middle. I’m disgusted and disappointed with the experience and outcome. I could’ve had a better manicure from my 3 year old cousin. What a mess. DON’T GOHERE!!!

Really liked this place. Here visiting and wanted to treat myself. Found the place to be clean and liked that it didn’t smell like a chemical plant. Got the deluxe pedi, nice!

Maine Law prohibits expiration dates on gift certificates, yet this salon will not honor one because they put a expiration date on it. The salon has really gone down hill since I was there last. They have basically stolen my husband’s money… as buying a gift certificate is pre paying for a service. Please spend your money on reputable businesses that know how to provide quality customer service.

I had the most dissatisfying experience I have ever had at a nail salon — just like one of the previous reviews, I had the younger man who did my manicure. He was impersonal, cold, and rushed through the whole process. My friend and I sat down to get our nails done at the same time(my friend had an older woman who took her time) — and both manicures — and he finished mine literally in half the time that my friend’s was finished. He obviously does not care about valuing the customer or providing a laudable service and positive experience. He did the minimal amount of service: didn’t even touch my cuticles. I simply do not recommend this salon — it is way too expensive for the sub-par product/service it offers(at least in my experience with the man). I will not return.

Don’t GO here!!! First of all, they aren’t friendly ATALL, especially the girl who sits up front who may be the ‘manager’. Second, they don’t do a good job at all on acrylics — I went here when I couldn’t get in to my regular place(Nails Lexxus in Falmouth) and they did such a terrible job, I had to have them re-done at Nails Lexxus(and got a scolding from my regular tech too as they were in awful shape) Plus I went in today for just a toe nail polish thinking how bad can they be at that! Well an older lady did my polish and she was so slooooow but they look ok… get ready for the price… $ 15 just to paint my toes!!! I didn’t need a pedicure as I’d just removed my own polish from a recent pedicure and wanted a change. I couldn’t believe it and ‘you have to be kidding’ just popped out of my mouth! Gheesh — guess I learned my lesson this time!

I’ve never had a good experience here, but kept giving it a try since I live so close. After the experience I had a month ago, I’m never going back! $ 50 for a mani-pedi that isn’t done well is way too much. I even asked the man doing my fingernails if he could go further down toward the cuticle(he was doing them double speed, like he had somewhere better to be), and he basically yelled at me that he had no idea what I was talking about. I also brushed my hand accidentally messing it up slightly and he yelled at me and then redid it, clearly exasperated! I felt terrible and embarrassed about the whole thing and won’t ever go back. The older man who did my toes was great, it was the younger man who did my fingers that wasn’t worth the money or experience.

I am very disappointed with my experience. They would not accept my $ 50 gift certificate claiming it had expired. They impose an unlawful 1-year expiration and even after sharing a copy of Title 33, I was sent on my way. This is after having paid for a sloppy manicure. Who ever heard of trying to polish someone’s fingers while jiggling during the massage potion of a pedicure? This had been my favorite nail place under the prior owner. Won’t be going back.

I was in the mood to pamper myself and the day spa down the street recommended Elizabeth’s for a walk in mani/pedi(instead of whatever they offer, but I didn’t think of that then). So I walked right in and sat right down and got fixed right up. The man who did my pedi was super friendly, and I really enjoyed talking to him. He told me where to go for dinner in town, and I forgot to tell him where to go in Chinatown when he takes the train to Boston — go to Xinh Xinh on Beach Street! You will love it!

This will do in a pinch. They are quick and thorough. Although too quick for me. I like my feet and legs super pampered when I get a pedicure. I will go back, its not like I live here all the time or anything so, no biggie.
