I grew up in the seventies and every bowling alley looked just like this. I think the only upgrades they made here were the scoring system and the shoes. I am usually reluctant to go bowling because every time I try it is leagues only or its wall to wall kids having a party. We were bored and wanted to see what this place was like. Walked right in on a Saturday and was immediately given a lane and pretty snazzy shoes. I had a lot of difficulty finding a bowling ball however. I must have tried 20 of them and the holes were too small or it was 50 pounds. In the end I settled for one that was close and I blame this entirely on my loss. The price was insanely cheap and the place was clean and well kept. The location is just bizarre and I am not sure how anyone finds this place. It is located in the back of an old shopping center. It looks like you are driving to the service or delivery entrance part of the plaza. There is no signage or directional indicators to tell you where it is. The staff was very attentive and responsive to stuck pins and other bowling mishaps. Great place. I would go there again.

A bit dated but still alot of fun for kids and adults alike. This bowling alley is hidden behind the Diamond Event Center in the Brunswick Central Plaza… weird but not distracting. There are plenty of lanes for bowling with a nicely stocked snack bar and counter, and a somewhat modest arcade area. If you like stepping back in time to the 80s or 90s… then the décor on the inside will appeal to you with it’s funky triangle inspired carpeting, dated bowling technology, and plastique benches. It’s a nice place for bowling if you are in the mood but It is pretty lonely to go alone.

Little bowling alley stuck in the 80s with appropriate fairly cheap prices. They’ve got 30 lanes or so, which are good quality. The technology is from the past, but works. They serve beer and super cheap bowling alley food. It was a Saturday night and most of the lanes were active, which was cool. Overall, good for what it is — an old school bowling alley with no frills.

It’s a bowling alley. They have bowling, a snackbar, a full bar, keno, & more. After checking around we found that Dick Hoover’s Lanes had the most reasonable prices. The employee at the counter wasn’t very friendly but that didn’t ruin it for us. PROTIP: While they don’t reserve lanes, if you call and tell them it’s for a birthday party they suddenly do. *shrug*
