An absolute disgrace! I’ve been a long time patron of the Days Inn in Brunswick and never have had any problem until now… My partner rented a room here he unfortunately was without ID(I had it on me at the time). The night staff was very accommodating and allowed him to rent the room after I took a screenshot and sent it via email. I met him at the room to bring him his ID after work. I decided I was tired and to just stay the night instead of drive home. The room itself wasn’t horrible however did have a stench of mildew to it. The next day my partner checked out of the room.(Here’s where it gets ridiculous and the reason for my 1 star rating) Upon check out he was harassed by the employee working. Asking how many people stayed the night, demanded before refunding the security deposit to go check the room. My partner agreed and told him that was ok. The employee returned about 10 – 15 minutes later and after realizing the room was fine he reluctantly gave the security deposit back. He then stated to my partner«Your little photo ID trick won’t work next time.» My partner responded, «It wasn’t a trick, but thanks for the attitude and hospitality.» He then walked outside. As we quietly sat enjoying the sun waiting for our ride this employee came out to the parking lot and stood over us(literally). I ask him if I could help him with something. He put his hand in my face and told me, «this doesn’t concern you» and said to my partner, «not cool dude». His aggressive demeanor told me this man was seeking a negative reaction. I told this man this does concern me since he was harassing the both of us for no reason. I also told him to leave my partner alone. He wouldn’t give me an answer as to why he had followed us out and was clearly trying to «pick a fight» with my partner. I asked him his name and he said«Jessica» then proceeded to take out his personal phone and take photos of us. I asked him why he was taking pictures of us and he gave no reason.(Creepy) I told him we would just leave the property because he was freaking me out. And we left. In this day and age you can’t trust what people are going to do or how they are going to act. This man Jessica clearly has issues, ones which I have no desire to find out. We should have never been treated with this level of disrespect, or harassment. We had no complaints about noise, or destruction of property. However this emotionally unstable and threatening person is allowed to conduct«business» like this? Honestly how would you feel if a very large aggressive man followed you into a parking lot to stand over you then start taking pictures of you. What has the world become? Hotels are supposed to be a safe places for families and people to visit. I would expect this type of behavior from an offender walking the parking lot not of the employees. They should want to keep guests feeling safe not uneasy, scared, and unsure. If your thinking about bringing your family here I would highly suggest against it. There are plenty of great hotels in the area that won’t subject you to this fiasco! Good luck!

Nice place… The name Days Inn doesn’t always imply quality, but this is a very nice place. Room was clean and well appointed. Nice staff. Comfortable and convenient, although next door to Walmart(gag). Main Street Brunswick is not far…

Bottom line: good Internet, hot breakfast with healthier options than danish, pet friendly, decent rooms. If you are looking for a budget friendly place in the Brunswick area, and especially if you want to bring your dog, this is the place for you!

I agree with a previous post. after reading reviews, I was dubious. Other than the fact that we were unable to check in 45 minutes early and that there was no elevator(I thought that was a mandatory law) we found our stay very pleasant. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. We had all amenities that we could want in a room for this price.($ 116) Bed was comfortable, room temperature was easily controlled and bathroom was clean with a nice shower. There was an issue with wifi, but, after calling the desk, found they were on it and it was fixed quickly.

Considering that this is a 2 star hotel, im was surprised at how clean and accommodating they were. This hotel exceeded my expectations for its price level. Breakfast however was busy, I suggest getting there early and bringing it to your room.

After reading the reviews, I was nervous about staying here, but due to booking at the last minute at the height of summer, I had no choice. I was pleasantly surprised. The front desk was chipper and kind checking us in. Our nonsmoking room was well appointed, very clean, no «used to be a smoking room» odor. Every appliance in the room works fine, even if it isn’t brand new. We paid $ 120 a night on a weekend in July, which was pretty much the best price in the area at this time of year without going somewhere sketchy. The continental breakfast is lackluster, but if you bought a room for the breakfast, you weren’t thinking clearly. All-in-all, I’m happy with the value, cleanliness, upkeep and service. Would visit again.

I know you get what you pay for, but this place is a disappointment at any price. I stayed here for a few nights, and a brief list of my complaints follows: — Nonsmoking rooms reek of smoke — Housekeeping is terrible. Their idea of making the bed is throwing the comforter up over the sheets. They left the same piece of hair in the sink through two cleanings. Someone else’s trash was on the armoire when i checked in And they don’t come at all if you leave the do not disturb sign on the door past 11:00. — Bad housekeeping also extends to the breakfast area. The table had the same sticky spot day after day, and the refrigerator was filthy. — The room light switch doesn’t turn anything on, so you must wander around in the dark. — Drawers fall out of the armoire — Cable intermittently does not work — Shower does not drain In short, look for somewhere else, anywhere, to stay in the Brunswick area.
