Free parking. No massive hordes of people scrambling to avoid missing flights. Quick and easy. And very simple. Delta is the carrier here. No Southwest. No American. No Virgin. Just Delta. Having traveled some to and from some of the largest airports, flying in and out of Brunswick is a wonderful reprieve from the stress generally tacked on to flying. And this is somewhat somber: This airport reminds me what it was like to travel before 9⁄11. Not talking about security, because they have that on lockdown. But it is a fairly hassle free experience. And because the airport is so tiny — that includes the security check — your loved ones can be with you just moment before you board your plane. As for what else is offered on site, you can rent vehicles here. There is one diner/café from what I could tell. One terminal and one carousel for baggage claim. Amazing. Feels like an old relic from the yesteryears of air travel.

I’m a novice flyer, so I can’t exactly rate this with the other ports I’ve been in. However, the team at this airport are really very nice and helpful. It’s laid out well and super easy to navigate, especially since it’s a really small terminal. But for me, I appreciated their courtesy more than anything else. I have been in larger ports where customer service isn’t exactly strong suits. I got to fly in their«spare» plane for both my trips through here. Which isn’t much bigger than a crop duster!

Came in a helicopter and everyone was so nice! The receptionist in the evening(Barbara) and the man in the morning were very friendly and we talked a lot while waiting for gas and my hubby to get things going. My glasses were a mess and the man went searching for those packets of wipes for me. That was so nice of him to above and beyond.

All I can say is after going a full decade without flying — this little airport — made my first real flight as an adult absolutely WONDERFUL! I had lunch at the café and it was delicious — the chef was friendly and chatted with me during my wait. The plane was super tiny but that just means everyone bonded and became friends.

This is a tiny little airport that puts the GOLDEN in Golden Isles. I’m certain that a traveler could roll a marble from one end of the airport to the other. Everyone I encountered at this place was competent, quick and kind. That goes for the car rental folks, the guys at the café(great salads, by the way) and the ticket counter staff. The entire experience(arriving and departing) is top notch and travelers can feel the cool vibe. There is free, fast WI-FI available throughout the port and plenty of comfortable chairs/sofas.

(aka Glynco Jetport previously). Flew in and out over the last few days. Nice place and a great café at the airport.

Delta is the main air carrier here, and with one checkpoint and one gate, it doesn’t get any easier to fly in and out of here. The parking lot is free to park in, so you won’t have to worry about those fees. You *must* try something to eat from the Zeppelin Café. These folks were originally employed at a resort on the island, from what I hear, and currently own their own catering business. Where else are you going to find eggs & applewood smoked bacon or banana pancakes? And their coffee? Fugghedaboutit. Fresh, fresh, fresh. I had an egg and bacon sandwich on toasted whole grain bread and it was $ 5. That may sound like a a lot, but it was a big sandwich and it was very, very good. It tasted fresh. Their lunch items look interesting, as well: lasagna, crab cakes, sandwiches, quesadillas, etc. There are a few rental car agencies in house and the best thing of all: FREE Wi-Fi. The airport is conveniently located a few minutes away from the I-95.
