Went here with my husband for some BBQ for lunch. We had boneless Wings for appetizer, they were fresh and hot. Had to ask for blue cheese but server brought it quickly. He ordered a brisket sandwich with baked beans, I got the smoked sausage sandwich with fries and cottage cheese. Both entrées were high quality and the sides were good too. The service was awesome. Price was average $ 32 for 2 entrees and an app. We would definitely go back here again!

We wanted to like this place, we ordered take out and the grilled tenderloin was extremely thin and leathery, had trouble cutting it with a steak knife for my client, the pickles were dried out and the lettuce very limp. No complaints about my fish sandwich, since the menu didn’t state it came lettuce or anything except for tarter sauce. But the pickle spear was dried out and the fries soft. Tarter sauce was mainly mayo and tasted like only mayo.
I can’t say much about the staff, because I didn’t go in to order, but from what I was told the server was very nice and did her job well. Not sure if there is a new cook working days, but judging by all the one star reviews from the past month, and all the older 5 star reviews, I’m assuming there is

Use to love the brunch they offered on Sundays but went a while back and was terribly disappointed and have gone a few times more hoping it would go back to its former glory and it has not. But, they do know how to cook the bacon and that is the only thing that earns them any stars. My in-​laws say they have good catfish like the old Frank and Marys but I’ve yet to try it. The one time I tried it’s barbecue I was not impressed. Sad to say I won’t pick to eat there anymore.

This place straight up SUCKED! This iis my second time here and I will say that I didnt think it could be worse than the first time. I WAS WRONG. We told them we had a party of 11 and the lady just sighed at us. So we get seated and they still didnt give us a big enough table, so we drug another one over. The food wass overpriced for what we got. I ordered some sort of bacon burger and I couldnt eat it becasue there was so much char I could taste the acetone (think nail polish remover) and it was making me sick. I complained and nothing was done. So, I wont be back.

Fabulous food!
Super service and the food is great! Personally, I love the hemi burger, a cheeseburger topped with pulled pork and an onion ring and a dab of bbq sauce.
The portion sizes were a little small I thought, but I didn’t leave hungry or overstuffed.

First time eating here. Loved the racing décor. It’s a place you can take your family. I had pulled pork sandwich with their sweet barbecue sauce. It was tasty. My husband had special ½ rack ribs. My son had a bacon cheeseburger. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. They seemed to be short handed and our waitress was running all over. We got our food pretty quickly. The waitress gave us the wrong check and we luckily noticed because it was about $ 15 more than it should have been. We do plan to return on a Saturday evening to check out the buffet.

A truly worthy pit stop. We found ourselves diverted this way by the the mess on I-​65 and were looking for a tasty but relatively quick dinner. The pit stop served us quite tasty brisket and ribs, with reasonable if not amazing sides. (Err on the side of caution here — the cole slaw is mayo-​based and all of the sauces trend toward the sweet, but the ghost pepper one has just enough kick to be good nonetheless.)
Almost as importantly for present purposes, the pit stop combined this tasty food with extremely hospitable service. They let us sit on the patio with our dog, they were quick, friendly, and generous, and we left feeling very well-​taken care of. Most of the time, that’s what I actually want from road food.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn & looked for a place close by. Hubby was hungry for a rib eye, so decided on the Pit Stop BBQ & Grill. Thursday special just happened to be a 10oz rib eye w/​2 sides for $ 11.95. He ordered the special & loved his steak! I tasted it & it was excellent! I had the pulled pork, which was excellent too. We had a side salad & they were served with the best tasting dressings we’ve had in a long time. Service was excellent — will definitely go back when in the area.

Not being a fan of buffet’s, I was reluctant to try the weeknight dinner buffet, because their Sunday brunch buffet knocks I out of the park. Can a restaurant really be capable of rendering 2 great buffets?!? Happy to say it did not disappoint. Everything was well prepared and maintained and the variety was great. There was meat from every family and a lovely variety of sides as well as cold foods. The chafing dishes were small, so they were refreshed frequently. The $ 11.95 price certainly was reasonable for the variety and quality. My husband complained but his idea of a good buffet is Golden Corral (I overlook this quality and continue to love him) so his opinion only bears mentioning. The server was attentive and prompt.

My family of four visited here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. Upon entering the food smelled so good we were hopeful of a great lunch. We waited for about five minutes to be sat because the gentleman before us was making a complaint to the manager (this should have been a warning sign). We didn’t expect lunch to take an hour and a half but there was only one waitress serving the only five tables that had customers. The food wasn’t bad but decent at best (wife had burger and rings and I had tenderloin sandwich). Pricey considering the quality of food. Anyone considering this establishment might as well save ¾ of their money and go to steak and shake.

We have been to this restaurant 10+ times. The service is always very good and there is never a wait, and food comes out of the kitchen quickly. It is definitely family friendly. The chicken sandwich is great, and what I almost always go back for. The rib-​eye is also excellent. The brisket is very disappointing… it is dry and flavorless, and even the texture of it is somehow odd.
The achilles heel of Pit Stop are the sides. I have tried several of the sides and they are all mediocre. Even the french fries leave something to be desired… but if you have to order something, go with this or the side salad, which is actually pretty good.
Also good to note, is that they have great tasting coke! Very bubbly!

I know, just here last night with friends. Tonight my husband wanted one of his favorites here, the Top Fuel Club. And he was happy with his club. That’s how good this place is; you can eat here 2 days back-​to-​back. I had an Ala Carte meal; baked potato topped with pulled pork and of course Haberano Sauce. Hit the spot and I’ll have again. Carol, our waitress, was terrific.
