McAlister’s Deli

Have yet to visit McAlisters and not had the line be to the door. I’ve gone at dinner time and wasn’t surprised by the line but I realized its because of the inability of the High School age staff to communicate the menu to the patrons that the line DOES NOT MOVE. If you are looking for Panera level food at slightly higher prices then this is the place for you. This establishment will continue to profit from the fact that Brownsburg has so few options for good food.
To hit on the staff again, awful. I showed up with a friend about a half hour before they closed and the high schooler taking our order stopped THREE TIMES during the process so she could clarify HER food order with the young girl at the cash register next to mine. She actually paid for her meal at the same time I paid for mine. Then we sat down for 15 minutes until they brought out the food to us and sure enough, wrong food for my friend. Took it back to the cook and she (another high school age girl) says that it is the right food. We have to get up point out the receipt and show her the menu to PROVE that it wasn’t the right food. Its a fleet of high school students being wrangled by one middle aged over whelmed manager.
Also if you go during «prime hours» there won’t be a single parking spot to be found. Between McAlisters and Scottys there just isn’t enough parking to go around.
Maybe with time this place will get it figured out but until then I would suggest going across the street to firehouse subs for a decent sandwich.

We were fortunate enough to visit on their Saturday friends & family training night, and also visited this past Saturday evening. On the training night, we were able to place our order right away, but had to wait about 10 minutes for our food. Visiting this past Saturday, the line was out the door! However, it did move quickly and our total wait to place our order and receive our food was about 10 minutes. The new digital menu boards are helpful if you have time to wait and watch them scroll through each item with a picture and detailed description. All the workers were very friendly and helpful, and the food was great! I’m sure this location will do very well, and we’re glad to see McAlister’s finally in Brownsburg.
