We stayed here about a week ago and had a good experience. The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly as well. Those are the important things, right? Other relevant infro: — they appear to be in the final stages of updating/renovating. Which worked out well for us for the most part; everything in our room and in the common areas was fairly new and looked good. The workout room was closed because of the renovation, but that is likely temporary. — The breakfast was a standard Hampton Inn breakfast, so you largely know what you’ll get there. I will say that they seemed to be quite diligent about keeping it well-stocked. — The free WiFi was a bit on the slow side, but the signal was strong at least. Didn’t try netflix, so not sure how well it would work for streaming.

Recently visited this location on the fly(i.e. without consulting the Unilocaliverse)…arrived after 10 pm, after booking a room by cell on the drive, primarily selected because of the proximity to I74 and our inability to drive any farther. It was fine for a place to crash. Staff was competent. The double rooms were very well-sized, had a guest-friendly layout, and had fairly new furniture(at least as compared to the window treatments – I don’t actually care that they’re Golden Girls Ugly, but that they let in a lot of unnecessary light, both from the parking areas and natural). The bathroom fixtures were dated and of the«hard to tell if they’re actually clean» variety(and the light switches are all inconveniently placed). Out-dated«in wall» hair dryers. Rooms do, though, have an updated wet bar, with a mini fridge, micro, and sink, as you’d expect for this chain. There is no restaurant on site, but there are a fair number of casual dining restaurants(and just about every fast food place you can think of) in the immediate vicinity. The looks of the lobby far exceed the follow-through. «Free hot breakfast» is terrible, truly vile non-food…Much, much worse that what you find at the average Hampton Inn and Suites(not that the bar is set high). Stick with the bagels, boxed cereal, and yogurt, if you know what’s good for you. Beds weren’t particularly comfortable(perhaps that has changed in over two years of use) and the noise level in our room(due to mechanicals — not other guests) was literally a dull roar all night. At present, they do have a crew of painters at work, so perhaps they’re trying to manage a low-key reno…

Erin & Jessica at the front desk rock! Pleasant & helpful. We checked in around 1:30a.m. and Anne was warm & welcoming. We had a room with 2 queens as that was all that was available for Sat. night & moved to a king room the following day — front desk made sure to let us know as soon as a king was cleaned. Both rooms were very clean! Housekeeping should be commended — I am pretty fussy about cleanliness! Beds were very comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful with local eateries & directions. The rooms were spacious and if traveling with children a great choice. Would definitely stay here again!
