Terrible. I took my nephew for what I thought would be a short lesson then a decent ride. Instead Sharon yelled at my nephew in the ring, he didn’t get any lesson and the«ride» was up and down a residential street. Not worth the $ 50. The owner clearly is too anxious about everything to even offer rides, she has to see that you«know» how to ride. I have done horseback riding trips all over the world and while I am no expert I know how to do a short ride. Even my nephew did great on a one hour open ride up in the mountains a few days before this. My recommendation is save your money and go to a well established stable that knows how to teach and doesn’t scream at you or children.

This was just ok. The owner seemed very good with my son for the most part, but he was taken out on rides along the residential streets on a horse that spooked at cars, so safety was an issue for us(he was a beginning rider). He was taken out on these«trail rides» with a junior rider on occasion as well. In addition, she asks her students to do some of her labor during the lesson time. At $ 50/hour, I thought this was unfair. I felt that she was using her students to satisfy her labor needs(shoveling dirt). Also, you should know that if you pay for lessons in advance, you will not be refunded if for whatever reason you decide not to come back. We lost some money this way. She will not refund your money if you cancel within 48 hours, nor would she do a make-up for it. We probably would have stayed with her long-term had her policies been a bit different. Probably she’s trying to protect herself, but at the expense of client loyalty.
