Rotello’s Authentic Italian Market and Deli

The last business day of Rotello’s Italian Market is 8÷15÷15. The owner decided to retire. I will miss this place very much!

This is interesting — Gary Rotello, who opened this market, is no longer associated with the market. When I went in yesterday, there was a whole different feel to the place. The pasta shelves are bare and looking very sad. When I asked about that, I was told «no one bought pasta here so we discontinued selling it.» Gary had stocked some very authentic and interesting pasta from Italy. Eggplant parm sandwiches are a thing of the past, too. Those sandwiches were so good! Over the past weekend my husband and I each ordered a sandwich. His was the Italian and was piled high with 3 kinds of «gabagool», mine was a turkey sandwich with hardly any turkey on it. The homemade sausage is still good; apparently Gary’s recipe is being used. I haven’t tried the meatballs or red sauce, which were great, since the change in ownership. I don’t believe the new owner is Italian so how «authentic» can it be?!
To me, Gary’s absence is noticeable — I’ll miss him at the store.

I ordered 3 sandwiches that came out to be a little over $ 25. I didn’t notice until a couple of days later that I was charge $ 52.92 instead of the $ 25. I lost my receipt. I called and talked to the manager who was nice enough to help me fix the problem. He refunded me the difference. I love that he was honest and helpful. Its worth it just coming back because of his integrity! Thank you!

I had a jalapeño German sandwich. It was great. The place is clean. One small warning: they do not have a selection of veggies.

Kinda pricy for small unimpressive cold cuts sandwiches… Pile on that meat, man! Isn’t that what a small deli is all about??!
They don’t have eggplant parm sandwiches anymore!!! :(
My wife was craving them and we went in… No go.
I think they need to re-​tool a bit if they plan on sticking around!

THE BEST Italian Deli I have been in in years! We got a sandwich, and a pre made dinner for later plus took home some sausage as well. It was all GREAT!
Had to try the German Sausage and I have to say it is some of the best I have ever had ANYWHERE. I’ll be going back for more of everything but I would go back for the German sausage alone. Please try and support this local business and help keep them open. You will not regret it!

What a little slice of Heaven. This market has the best meatballs and sausage in town along with an outstanding marinara sauce. The service is always friendly and they go out of they’re way to accommodate special orders

This place is by work, and is a great lunch. Their meat ball subs with a side soup are great! All the sausage is made on house and same with the soups.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while now and finally got a chance to. As I was walking in a older gentleman was walking in as well, I mentioned that this was my first time and asked what he thought I should try. «You are going to love it! Just start from the top and work your way down the menu, you will not be disappointed» I ordered the Italian beef to start and it was excellent! Great friendly staff.

Wow. Im so glad I accidentally drove into the parking lot of this deli. This place is the real deal. Very authentic, fresh Italian food. I went in for my second visit and got an Italian Meatball sandwich with homemade marinara, mozzarella cheese and Anaheim peppers, plus an Italian combo sandwich containing Capocollo, Genoa Salami and Prosciutto with provolone cheese. Both were awesome, Im Italian and grew up in an Italian family but I have to say that these were the best meatballs ive had in my entire life. The deli meats are authentic, not soft and mushy like you find at big chain sandwich shops. The Italian combo is a perfect blend of meats.
I cant wait to go back, there’s an Italian Sausage sandwich that I really want to try. The staff are very nice, there’s a girl there that is extremely nice and willing to give out samples of various cheeses and will talk your ear off about the various ingredients and processes used in making it. The owner was there today and was very kind and accommodating, our sandwiches were done but there were people in line so his exact words were «go, sit down, eat first, enjoy your meal, pay after». It shows that he is more concerned with people filling their stomachs as opposed to emptying their wallets. Everyone who works there offers smiles and genuinely seem like they want to be there.
My only complaint is that they lack a fountain drink machine, the bottled sodas are a little pricey. Plus, I don’t seem to fit into the table chairs that are there, but that’s probably because Im freakishly tall. Im just nitpicking now, this place is great. It’s a best kept secret for the moment but I foresee them getting very busy in the upcoming months.

Great place. I love this deli. The first time we went in, we were given multiple samples of cheeses and meats. They were all excellent. The prices were moderate. The subs are very good. Being Italian, I am very partial to my Grandma’s sauce. I say this without hesitation, Rotello’s marinara is a very close second.
The staff were all very nice and helpful and they have a great selection of deli meats and cheeses, as well as canned and jarred goods. If you make your way in, try the Chianti Jelly with some cheeses. It is amazing.

I love this place. The sandwiches are great and the cannolis and gelato are amazing. The workers are very friendly and really try and get to know their clients. My new favorite spot in Broomfield.

Walking through the front door of Rotello’s, the smell was like taking a stroll memory lane from the old meat markets in my hometown of Pueblo, CO. The difference is that you can eat here as well. The italian sausage sandwich was very good and my friend had a half sandwich and soup that she said was very good as well. This will definitely be a regular stop for me. I took home some ham, italian sausage, goat cheese, etc… fantastic!

What a find! These folks have a lot of experience in the Italian deli business, after running a deli just outside if Denver for many years. We’re very lucky to have them here now. All the meats, cheeses and bread are top notch, as well as fresh or frozen pasta meals with sauce to take home.
The fresh Italian sausage we bought to grill at home with some peppers and onions was some of the best I’ve ever had, a long with their side-​salads.
They also have Italian market items, to cook your own meals, as well as soups and desserts to eat there or take home.

Rotello’s is a hidden gem! The service is amazing and the food even better. They make sandwiches to order, have a fabulous meat and deli counter and homemade pasta and sauce to go (plus the sauce is the owner’s 100 year old family recipe). This place is a must try!!!

What can I say… Amazing food, great customer service, great atmosphere. Absolutely the best place to purchase fresh sausage in Colorado hands down!!! Took my family there for lunch, it was so good, a definite «must try». Staff was courteous and responsive, hard to find in any place of business. If you pass by this place and don’t stop you surely are Missing out… I will be back again, and will be recommending it to everyone I know.
