Broadlands Liquor

No other way ro describe it, this place is a dive. Poor selection. Apparently not enough sales to properly stock the square footage. Checkout is located in a terribly inconvenient spot on the floor. Clearance table straight out of K-​mart. Employees not willing to load or unload a cart. Merchandise universally has a thick layer of dust. If I could leave a –1 star I would. Needless to say my last visit to this dump.

I’ve never put out a negative review of a business because the actions of an employee shouldn’t reflect on an owners ability to feed his family. However, my experience at this business warrants the following.
My wife went twice to this liquor store for wine and spoke with a loser named Ray for advice on what to select. He complimented on her style the first time. The SECOND TIME he asked for her ID and made a pass at her. When she got home, there was a friend request on her Facebook page from this clown.
The next day I went in to discuss this with the owner and he assured me he would address the matter and have the manager call me concerning how it was handled.
No call, nothing.
I don’t want to encourage cyber stalking so we won’t be patronizing this business any longer.

The guy behind the counter was very rude! I will never be going back. The store didn’t have a very good selection. It looked pretty empty.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I just bought several bottles of wine and some premium vodka. The two gentleman behind the counter were extremely nice and very friendly. I will definitely be back. Great wine selection and reasonable prices. Give this locally owned store a shot and don’t believe all of these tough reviews. Thanks for a good experience!

They had a sale on wine for 50% off. Found out the retail price for the wine was 25% less than there 50% off.
This is one misleading establishment and I will never shop there again.
To mark a 6.00 bottle of wine to 17.00 and tell their customers they are getting 50% off is bad business.
Be very careful here.

More expensive than the store down the street — and the owners are seemingly never in a good mood. We prefer to take our business elsewhere.

In response to Danielle J’s review. I was there. The young lady broke a bunch of bottles by not looking where she was putting a six pack. Made a huge scene and left without paying anything. Poor guy behind the counter was speechless. Great selection, I go almost every day. Good people. Small family run business.

I dropped a six pack of beer and got cussed out by the owner, even though I was extremely apologetic. It was quite the experience. I highly recommend avoiding this place, the selection sucks anyway.

Ok, but limited selections for wine. Can do in a pinch.
