A great park with updated play equipment(The purple photos are old. I will post new ones). The nearby field is big enough for anything you can imagine. The bike path and the tennis courts make this a close to perfect park. The only thing missing is you. I pass by here everyday and it makes me happy to know that such a wonderful park represents my neighborhood.

When I think of the name, Brandywine Park, I think of a different time when adult hobbits could take their little hobbits here when they needed a break from the Shire. This little line of thinking carried me through our visit. When you look at the map, the marker sits on where it says«Brandywine Park.» However, that unnamed green space below 124th Avenue is also part of the park. See the captions of the pictures to find out where the playgrounds are located. After looking at them both, we decided to visit the southern playground, which runs along 124th. The area was moderately clean and maintained. There was a little bit of trash, but nothing too bad. They have two infant swings and two regular swings. There is a bench and a picnic table. Unfortunately, neither were in a location where there was shade. As we were walking back to the car(parked on the street, since there isn’t a parking lot), I noticed there were a lot of mushrooms in the grass. The grass was pretty thick, offering a lot of nice resistance as we walked through. If we’re ever in the area again, I’ll take my little hobbits to the north playground to see how it fares.
