Advance Auto Parts

The service is good, and people are knowledgeable, but the quality of there «house parts» is clearly substandard. The brake disks I purchased just 1 year ago are already warped. I could have purchased top quality disk online for the same price.
I plan on continuing purchasing name brand components from Advanced, but that was the last time I will ever purchase any «hose brand parts» again from them!

This was a great experience– as soon as we left I said it was Unilocal-​worthy. :) My boyfriend and I went in for new windshield wipers, which I’d been avoiding getting even though mine were terrible– because I didn’t know which kind or size to get, or how to replace them. Just not the most exciting thing to me…
An employee, Jon, immediately greeted us and asked if we needed to find anything. We told him we needed wipers, so he quickly looked up the right size for the make and model and then took us to them and briefly told us everything about each kind of wiper as far as value goes. My bf picked a more expensive one than I would have after hearing all the info. Jon rang them up and then happily offered to put them on for us. He said he’s done so many that he knows how for pretty much every car. It took him about 10 seconds. And damn they are the best wipers in the world! I really didn’t think I’d ever care about this, but I now feel a lot safer having a crystal clear windshield no matter the weather– thanks to Joel for making me go, and Jon for making it easy.
