Rite Aid

Not the top store as far as Rite Aids go. I have used this in a pinch to have an Rx transferred when I can’t make it to my regular location to pick up. They have been helpful for that.
This store is small and old. It seems corporate has passed it over for a reno, which I don’t understand because Broomall is such a center of commercial shopping, it would seem this location would be prime for the makeover list. Media, Newtown Square, and Devon (Wayne) are all much newer, bigger, and nicer. I don’t feel like things have been on the shelf for 20 years at those locations like I did at this one.
The pharmacy staff seems overwhelmed, either because they are too busy or incompetent. I have not gotten enough Rxes there to know for sure.
The store has a lot of products tightly packed into it, and I can’t say I enjoy shopping there. There were actually a few things we needed but the place feels so crowded (even with one other customer in the whole store) that we decided to get things later at the Media location, where I feel I can browse for hours.
The other reason we passed on shopping was I had one question about a product and the cashier (the only person available to help) could not be bothered to give (or find out) the answer, so that was totally a turn off.
Hopefully the knock-​down/​build-​new crew will hit this store soon. And hopefully the professionalism fairy will sprinkle some magic dust on the staff.
