When I heard about the open house at Pecan Springs, I decided to stop by and see it. I met the manager, Katherine, who was attentive and mentioned that the better deals are during the winter. I had to change our date due to scheduling conflict. Katherine was extremely helpful in working with us. We did hire a wedding day coordinator, A Particular Event, who set up the tables and decorations exactly like we wanted it done. There were some last minute options we considered and I contacted Katherine right after the holidays. She responded right away. In the end we decided not to use the projector, though it was nice to know it was available. The day of our wedding was magnificent. It looked like our dream wedding. Everything worked out great. When we arrived, there is a special entrance for the bride and groom. We took pictures with our photographer near the entrance and also near the bridge overlooking the water. Then we went inside and upstairs without our guests noticing us. They have a separate groom’s waiting room and bride’s waiting room. My hubby stayed with me in the bride’s waiting room. Then, the DJ popped in to go over last minute details. He was followed by a nice waitress who gave us our appetizers along with our drinks. Then, we walked down tall staircase while the music played a surprised entrance«Chicago Bull Theme song» per my husband’s sports mania. We had a variety of music played like country, 80’s music, merengue, and towards the end we even had karaōke. Our friends joined in with us. The two things that we would have liked was being able to use sparklers when we left and a closer location to Houston. It is a long distance from Houston and surrounding cities though all our family and friends kept telling us about how beautiful everything looked like the garden in the back with the surrounding water. Our wedding was in January 2013, our friends and family are still raving about how beautiful everything looked and we were extremely satisfied with Pecan Springs in Brookshire Texas.

This is a gorgeous venue. The air conditioning and fans are very efficient even for an August wedding. The restrooms are clean and spacious. The outdoor ceremony area is perfectly groomed. The design of the building is beautiful. This place is hard to top. It was perfect.

I was here for a wedding and thought this place was a great find for the lovely couple! It’s rustic and spacious so you don’t feel cramped, even with a larger guest count. I like how this venue is flexible and allows you to customize everything to your liking. Everyone had a great time! This isn’t the venue for couples who aren’t interested in investing time and effort to hire caterers + staff, photographers, cake. etc.

Pecan Springs is the wedding venue of a girl’s dreams. I had my wedding here in November 2013. We did a lot of venue research before we selected PS. The venue gives a substantial discount for weekday weddings so you may consider this while planning. The outdoor area is gorgeous and well maintained. We originally wanted to have our wedding outdoors but the weather was too cold. Never fear, we were able to set up the ceremony indoors with all the chairs and the reception tables in the back. There are also large bridal rooms with its own bathroom downstairs, several groomsman rooms upstairs and a kitchen. PS also let us set up the day before. We got 5 hours of prep time which made the wedding super relaxing. One of the best parts is that you get the venue for the entire day 8 am — 11 pm. Keep in mind you do need to clean up all decorations and glassware afterwards. Everything must be out by 11 pm so let your vendors know that. Service was fantastic! Jessica was prompt in returning my emails with a lot of questions. She was present during most of the ceremony and reception to deal with any issues. I received payment receipts after each monthly payment. This is how a wedding business should be run. Other than being a bit far out of town this is a great place to have a wedding. Guests couldn’t stop talking about how gorgeous it was. I highly recommend Pecan Springs or any of it’s sister spring event venues(layouts are all the same.)
