Xyz Executive Luxury Sedan Service

My company keeps ordering car services from XYZ for a reason I can’t begin to imagine. Currently in a car right now and couldn’t even wait to get home to write a bad review. First time I was in an XYZ car I left my hat on my seat 1000% knew it was there. The driver definitely stole it because I called the driver 5 min after he pulled away and pretended he didn’t see it when it was right on the seat.
The second time I used them it was raining out and was trying to get to JFK. Needless to say I was afraid for my life the entire trip. The guy was the worst driver I’ve ever experienced and he was asleep in my driveway at 5 am and I was banging on the window to wake him up to let me into the car to leave.
Currently I’m in a car where the driver has been speaking on the phone with family and friends loudly the entire car ride. And I’m car sick of course because this guy can’t drive either.
I will be letting our secretary know to never book with this company again.

Not Reliable — Not Reputable. The car I ordered arrived 35 minutes late for a 30 minute trip. I called the dispatch several times and was told that the driver was 5 – 7 minutes away, 2 minutes away, and right outside the building, when nothing was further from the truth. The driver blamed the weather but never an apology. This is a consortium of independent driver so take your chances as to whether the car they send ever shows up, or just decides to show up late after perhaps picking up another fare. Strongly suggest finding alternate transportation if you really need to get where you are going.

Don’t understand the negative reviews. Have used XYZ numerous times over the years — never had an issue. Most recent pick up from a cruise. Arrived approx. 15 min. from the call — as promised. Phone Reps always professional /​courteous. Price might be a bit higher when compared to other car services but hey — you get what you pay for.

Prices beat CARmel but service is way less professional. In the car as I write this; the driver just refused to put on the air conditioning. Are you F’ing serious? Screw this; next time I’ll pay extra for a real limo service and call CARmel.
Whoa and we just went through a red light! I’m scared.
Now i remember, my friend’s delicate luggage was violently thrown into the back of the car as he tried to pull it away from him while my friend screamed, «careful! My computer is in there!»
Not to owner: Brooklyn isn’t ghetto anymore; you’ll have to step up the service if you wanna hang in this quickly changing (and arguably improving) city.

This is one of the most ridiculous companies I have ever used. We use XYZ (and two other car services) at my office. We are repeatedly charged wait times while the drive is «circling» and I’m standing on the corner on the phone with dispatch trying to find the car (which they have record of) and then they still charge me wait time. They do not monitor your flight when you are arriving (like almost every other car company) and then charge you for the delay which is practically unheard of. I would give them zero stars if that was an option but the one star is that they are more often than not on time… still, I dont appreciate being charged extra money for BS.

I know we’re in the middle of a very frustrating traffic situation with subway down (post-​Sandy). Which is why I had my office call this car to take me home from midtown around noon. I received two calls confirming my car from XYZ (including one warning they’d be 40 minutes late). And now — they are almost two hours late, I am stuck at work — literally stranded — and I can’t get through to anyone and they haven’t reached out to me. I understand they are working against difficult circumstances, but you can’t leave someone stranded who requested it literally this morning. I would never use this company of my own will at this point —

I use XYZ for work a lot. Always reliable. Nice cars. Nice drivers. No complaints.

It’s crazy to me that people are reporting issues with these guys since I’ve only had really great experiences.
Our company has an account with XYZ so we always use them when in the city. Most recently I used them to and from Newark, leaving the financial district at 5pm, heading to the office at 8am, and they were always on time, ready, and waiting for me at the exact time I requested.
The cars are super nice too. I think I was always in a black small SUV type vehicle with leather seats. The drivers have never been talkative but I don’t mind that! They’re much more sane drivers in my opinion than taxi drivers.

I was in this neighborhood last week, and googled «Car Service.» These guys came up so I called.
To go from Park Slope to Greenpoint, with one stop in Williamsburg (literally around the corner from the Greenpoint) I was charged over $ 67 dollars. The driver wasn’t able to discuss the price, and I had to wait a week and a half to discuss with billing.
Once on the phone with billing she explained that $ 33 dollars is the fare and $ 25 is the extra stop price. I’ve never paid more than $ 20 from every other company, the extra stop was to get a pregnant woman closer to her house.
Her explanation is that they are an «executive corporate luxury car service.» In reality they use the same damn cars as everyone else. Huge waste of money. Terrible experience, 0 chance to even reduce the fare.

Amazing luxury sedan service. Quite possibly the most reliable in all of New York.

Don’t waste your time. Unfortunately, I am forced to use these guys through work. 3 out of the past 4 times I’ve come into JFK, XYZ has been a no-​show.
