WB Caribbean Restaurant

This may be a small restaurant, but the food consistently boasts freshness & flavor… im sure there has been multiple chefs but the taste has never been compromised. Highly Recommened for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

If you want good Caribbean food for cheap, this is the place you must visit. All their food is seasoned nicely, including the oxtail. Now why 4 stars? Well they are slow in preparing the food I a timely fashion. I pray for you if you visit here during your lunch hour, because you will have a 20 minute break after you leave the place. The food makes up for it, but that will not give 5 stars from me. I guess they need to sing songs similar to cold stone. People sing with me, «I work… I work… Off the work we go!»

If you are in the area and in the mood for West Indian specifically Jamaican food, then this is the spot! No need for a special trip though. I go for the large oxtails $ 12 rice n peas with salad and plantain. It all comes in the big circle foil pan. But load it up they do with food! It has plenty of rice and like 10 – 13 pieces of oxtails. The gravy is wickedly addictive as are the oxtails. The oxtails taste like home and are not tough in any way. The rice is not my fave being that it tends to be a lil overcooked for my liking…
Again, if your in the area and don’t see but 1 or 2 people in line ahead of you, then venture in for a good meal. Anymore than 2 people, be prepared to wait. And when I say wait I mean 20 – 30 minutes wait.
*I have also seen «regulars» get preferred treatment through the side door by allowing them to skip the line and order and get their food before the folks already waiting in line. SMH”.*

If u need a quick taste of Caribbean food. Like ox tail. Curry chicken. This place is cheap and the food is not bad! The thing i don’t like is they r slow. Sometime it is at lunch time at 12 the food still nite ready! so u got to be patient! ! Basically they do take out!
