I am in the midst of planning my wedding, and after seeing Vintage Cakery’s website, decided that I wanted to set up a tasting for our wedding cake.
Matt was amazing, following my directive that «if it isn’t chocolate, it isn’t dessert» and brought me five mason jars filled with cakey-​goodness. We sampled his devil’s food cake with salted peanut butter (our favorite… completely drool-​worthy), nutella, vanilla bean, dark chocolate, and raspberry mousse frosting. Each of them were delicious and beautifully presented. He even brought lids for each of the jars so that we could save the massive samples and eat them later (for breakfast.lunch.what-have-you).
In addition to being so talented with his art form, Matt of Vintage Cakery is sweet, charming, and very personable. We hired him on the spot to do our wedding cake. Though the wedding isn’t until September, I will think about that salted peanut butter frosting every day until then.
DELICIOUS!
