Victoria’s Secret

I came in here for the after Christmas sale and there were signs up 25% off clearance items prices which I confirmed with a sales associate. When I reached the cashier they said it wasn’t valid. I said the sign is there and the associate confirmed the price and scanned it. The cashier was very rude and not accommodating. I am very annoyed by the lack of friendliness and the fact that there isn’t communication on promotional items.

So Friday night on my way home from work I stopped off at the VS in Atlantic Terminal. The place was such a mess — literally. It was impossible to find anything among the disarray. So when I read online of this weekends upcoming sales I figured I’d try out the VS at Kings Plaza… what did I have to lose, right?
Best decision I made all week.
Holiday hours for KP had the store opening at 9am… and lucky for me most of this side of Brooklyn must have still been sleeping. There was no one in the store — just me and a few employees. It was amazing — I basically had free run of the place. Undies in every size and color! Neatly organized bottles of lotions and perfumes! And such nice staffers there to grab me a shopping bag and answer any questions I had.
Moving forward there’s basically no reason for me to go back to any other Victoria’s Secret in Brooklyn.

It is a huge location, and they everything. But one funny thing happened they day I came here. It was so hot that we just couldn’t stand inside the store. I am not sure if they had a problem with the AC, or that the lamps they use in the store are just not the right for the store, but it was like standing inside an oven.
Ignoring that major problem, the place is clean, and the woman that (tried) to help us was extremely helpful, and although the heat was unbearable, she was really trying to help.

I need someone I can talk to… Someone who can really understand. because when i need or want something from VS i would like it if you advice me or inform me on what i need to know about your products… the staff here is pretty rude… Being rude and disrespectful isn’t gonna get you anywhere in life…

Very nice woman helped me there, and I got exactly what I needed. What I did not like is the big differences between the different locations, especially their special offers. But the bottom line is that I found exactly what I was looking for.
But to get such a nice person to help me, is something that made me take the time and review the place. First, this location is really big, and they have almost all kinds of creams and body lotion, and if you love Victoria’s, you know what I mean. Their sales representative did not leave me until I completed the shopping and found everything I needed.
I guess that the secret, and this goes for a general recommendation for kings plaza, and not only for Victoria’s secret, is to go there early on a week day, and you will find that the people are more patient, and have time to really help you.

The sales lady was extremely helpful! She helped me find this one type of bra I was looking for. We chatted for a bit & she was so amazing. Now, if she were so amazing, why would I give it 3 stars only? The minute my mother walked in & I asked the sales lady if I could get a matching panty with the bra, she rolled her eyes at me & gave me attitude. Why did she become two-​faced when my mother approached? This is the woman who’s paying for everything & I’m the customer who’s asking my mother to buy it so why give us attitude? She’s just lucky I really liked the bra or I would have put it back down and given her a piece of my mind. Unbelievable.

Shoshannah is right-«very poor customer service.» They don’t like you rummaging through the shelves, but they don’t like you rummaging through the drawers either. Apparently you’re just supposed to magically find whatever you’re looking for without having to search through things.
If they see anyone searching for a style or size, they’ll ask what you’re looking for… but very few of them will actually help you look. It also does not help that a lot of the underwear are misplaced by size in the drawers, of course if they notice you going through the drawers, some of them give you nasty looks.
Also, the free PINK stuff and PINK stuff for $ 5 –its almost as if they really don’t want to give it away. Seriously, almost like whenever VS is doing their $ 5 flip-​flop or free dog thing-they’re like gone, I don’t mean like sold-​out I’m talking they only put out a few and if you ask if they have any more they look at you like you’re crazy. Once, I was looking for flip-​flops and they didn’t have any more in the size I needed-​they just said they don’t have any more, asked if they could check and the bitch just didn’t care-​please as if they could be sold-​out on the first day. Came back next day and what do you know-​a whole bunch in the size I needed right up front in baskets.
Seen women just arguing with some sales rep and storming out solely because of the attitude, not that I blame them. Other people just leave because the place is often crowded and everybody is just hovering over the underwear shelves.
The registers-​dang the lines are long, there always seems to be a prob with the receipts not printing or the computer not processing exchanges/​refunds.

This store is very well stocked and has a great selection and layout. They didn’t get any of my money today bc I spent 10 min. looking for a few items on my own. Sales associates walked past me and looked through me-​so I kept my money on my pocket. Very poor customer service–

Worst customer service… avoid at all costs!

This Victoria’s Secret isn’t as big as the one in Herald Square. There isn’t that much lingerie in which you can choose from, but they do have the basic ones. The lingerie are pretty pricey, but the material is nice. If you want to see more styles, you should go online to their website.

What I like best about this VS location is that they have a seperate store for fragrances and make-​up. The staff here isn’t always the most friendly but I guess it goes with the territory since this store is located in Kings Plaza. I wouldn’t go out of my way to shop here. But if I happen to be in the mall for something else I may stop in for an item or two. Especially if it’s during their semi-​annual sale.
