i brought this cake for someones birthday party & the cake was horrible. the cake was soggy & runnie. it taste nothing like a real birthday cake. i was so disappointed b/c i depending on this business to deliver their services on this special day, i mean after all isn’t this what the fuck they get paid for. i would never go here again. this was a total waste. basket & robins would have done a better job or carvel. i dont even want to give them one star they deserve no stars.

I grew up eating Valencia cakes for every occasion back in the 1980s &90s. I was upset when I drove all the way from Staten Island to the one that used to be on Broadway in Williamsburg, which was the one my parents used to get our cakes from, just to find out they had closed down. I had to google it and found the one on Pitkin Avenue. Ever since I found that one I’ve driven there plenty of times just to have a piece of heaven. I love the one with the pineapple filling. It’s my favorite cake of all time. Some people, like my husband, who is not Spanish, say it’s too sweet but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Oh, and don’t forget to get their homemade vanilla ice cream. Can’t have Valencia cake without vanilla ice cream… Delicious!

Bought a 10 inch pineapple cake with vanilla frosting for a co-workers birthday. It looks good but it’s wayyyyy too sweet. Most of my coworkers threw away large portions of their plate and it was already cut very small. Wouldnt recommend the cake at all.

My Puerto Rican good friend introduce me to this place more then 15 yrs ago. She use to bring the cakes to work for people’s birthday. They have a store here in Brooklyn and the main location is in the bx. They have the best cake your money can buy. That three milk cake is out of this world. Yummmm. Keep making people smile with that delicious cake.

I was blessed with Valencia Cakes all through my childhood in Brooklyn in the 60’s, every birthday there was always a Valencia Cake at the party… the pineapple with vanilla frosting was our choice and we loved it… Just the other day my girlfriend came home with a wonderful surprise for this old fan of Valencia… a pineapple vanilla cake with«Siempre» written on it… Now That’s Love… My Girl and Valencia cakes will always be in my life… Siempre!!!

Every year it’s a must for my birthday! Super sweet, creamy, yummy! They sell by the slice sometimes but it may be a day or two old– still good though. They do custom orders. Many different fillings to choose from. Store has many things you need for your party, too. Only Valencia left in Brooklyn, unfortunately. You may have to wait a little for service, but when it’s your turn they are helpful
