My wife dragged me here for some authentic Mexican style food and I was really impressed! I tried Fish tacos, Spicy beef, Chicken & Veggie they were all realllyyy good! The fact that they had Jarittos drink was definitely a plus! Their tacos although«small» in size, they over pack it full of yummy deliciousness, homemade beans, rice, guacamole, everything was just superb. After spending 3+ years in LA, I was happy to find this joint in Brooklyn.

I always get delivery. The burrito is super huge and delicious. They’ve never messed up my order. I can’t say what’s going on in the restaurant as I used to live btwn 4th and 5th ave and never ventured up to 7th.

More Americanized Mexican than anything else. Not bad; not great. In short, unmemorable. Portions are large and the fillings good but just lacks that«authentic» flavor.

My boyfriend introduced it to me because he knows I love Mexican food and we have since then become regulars. The burritos are big and full of awesome flavor. The California Burrito is awesome, mostly because of how well cooked and seasoned beef. Their guacamole is forgettable, but still yummy. We have a tradition of having Uncle Moe’s Burritos on Movie nights. Last movie was«Hot Fuzz»(AWESOMEMOVIE). And now I can’t watch«Hot Fuzz» without an Uncle Moe’s Burrito. The place is clean and comfortable. I really like the décor. I really recommend it. Its one of my favorite spots.

Meh is about the perfect way to describe my experience here. I was starving after a day filled with apartment hunting and no food and ran into Uncle Moe’s Burritos on my way home. The Unilocal app on my phone wasn’t working, so I just decided to take a chance. The place is small and cute and there were a lot of options on the menu. I ordered a chorizo burrito, East LA(the one with no cheese) and it was bland, bland, bland. The beans were chalky, the rice was crunchy, and the chorizo was more potatoes than meat. Super starchy and super disappointing.

For starters, it’s(so much) better than Chipotle. There, I said it. My sister had been telling me about the magnificence that is Uncle Moe’s for a very long time, so it was sort of about time that I got to stop by. I was sort of dazed and confused by the whole thing, and I guess I’d say the concept of ordering the burritos here is Chipotle-like, but much much better because the ingredients are head-and-shoulders above any fast food offering. I had a burrito with some sort of braised(slightly spicy) pork which was delicious and enormous. Also served filled with rice, beans and all the typical accompaniments including(free!) guacamole, it was really a sight to behold. They also double-wrap it with two tortillas so it’ll stay together if you decide to eat it with your hands. Best yet are the complimentary/unlimited salsas offered to give an additional kick to your meal(try the greenish one full of cilantro). Uncle Moe’s serves some other dishes beside burritos like enchiladas and quesadillas, as well as some beers and soft drinks. Thumps up also for the outdoor seating facing Seventh Avenue! Overall, everything it’s cracked up to be and highly recommended if you’re in the area.

The best thing this place has going for it is location. Right on 7th Ave., by the subway. But that’s about it. The meat is decidedly sub par. The chicken and beef are the biggest culrpits, while the pork is a little bit ahead. The beans and rice aren’t anything special either. Bland and possibly from a can. And it’s $ 3.55 for a taco. I realize that the store costs a lot more to rent than those down in Sunset Park, but the price is kind of ridiculous. Especially for a bad meal. Do not want.

It was an OK type of place to eat a burrito. Nothing crazey, I ordered a chicken burrito that tasted bland. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, but when your hungry and cranky, you have no choice but to tame the gut. It’s conveniently located by the F train and Methodist hospital. The word(or letters) OK, are perfect when it comes to describing this place.
