This is a great place to get roast duck and other Chinese barbecue items. Other great foods were their stir fry dishes. My family always goes here for the duck when we get our neighbors food in exchange for them always giving us fish. I feel like so many takeout places in LI do that too lol. They exchange Chinese food for fresh fish. It’s interesting.

Awesome. You don’t have to travel to canal street for authentic and delicious Chinese food.

Very good food at good prices. Had a wonton soup and was very good. My gf had the pork with a egg on top, she enjoyed it. I had the Satay Beef. Very tender and flavor full. A nice spice kick but not strong which is why i really enjoyed it. The fried rice was so light and tasty. Not expensive at all. They have a pot of tea on the tabke which is a nice touch. Definitely coming back and bringing friends.

The food quality hasn’t change much since my last review. This is more about the quantity. They are starting to use«fillers» to make the dish look bigger but taking away the key ingredients. My usual dish from every Chinese restaurant I’ve ate at, never comes with vegetables even without specifying it. In the past, this place made it the same way as everyplace else but better tasting. However, my most recent trip, I discovered that they filled half my dish with vegetables, thereby giving me less of the actual dish. VERYDISAPPOINTED!

This is the best Chinese food on the planet. All the dishes are fresh. The scallops with pepper were so good. The beef chow fun was not greasy with plenty of beef. I wish they would open on Long Island. I guess every time that I go to Brooklyn I will be bringing home Chinese food. This place has no atmosphere and is very small.

I work a few blocks away so it’s an easy place to go to for lunch. My coworker and I have requested a few dishes made differently, and they always make it the way we want. So good and so cheap!

Excellent restaurant in Sheepshead Bay! Waiters are attentive and very friendly. They serve tea upon arrival and some peanuts to snack on which was very appreciated. Meals are HEFTY and worth every penny! Food was fresh and delicious! I have 0 complaints about this place! Only good words and I plan on coming back!

Found the place via Unilocal,no regrets! Incredibly cheap. Order from the middle pages of the menu for sure. We got shrimp with vegetables, beef with sour cabbage(delicious!), chicken with garlic sauce, and vegetable lo mein. Everything was fresh and delicious. My friend said she didn’t like spicy things, but the waiter thought that applied to everyone. Fortunately the chili sauce fixed that. Also the sign says«Golden Z» not«Triple Z.»

Very good spare rib, hot and sour soup, as well as other staples including lobster, shrimp and scallops. If you’re on avenue U, I highly recommend this place over the others in the neighborhood.

This place has friendly service, which is rare for a Chinese-owned restaurant. The place here is relatively clean, with a B rating. I was a bit skeptical at first but decided to try the place out. It’s a great thing we did because the food here is authentically delicious. I had the ho fun with herbal soup, Chinese veggies, and Chinese BBQ chicken on the side. I really appreciated how they separated the meat and the soup with ho fun because some people(like myself), prefer to eat them separately. But, if you’re ordering take out from this place, be aware that they do not separate your soup, ho fun, or meat! They mix everything in together and put it in a tight container(which sucks especially if you’re traveling far)! I wouldn’t order take out from this place, but I’d gladly dine in. The fried rice here is tasty as well but a tad salty(maybe it was just me?). I really appreciated how there was an equal balance of meat to rice.

Do not mistake this for your average hole in the wall Chinese joint. This place serves quality food that tastes great and won’t leave you feeling bad afterwords! Go for anything duck!

I love this place! The quality of the food is awesome and always fresh. If you eat in, the seating area is a little cramped, but the service is fast and exceptional. The prices are very affordable, and sometimes I think they undercharge me(but I’m thankful that’s the actual price!). They speak very little English, so if you can’t speak Chinese fairly well, point to your selection on the menu. If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go!

Shrimp and vegetables over rice very tasty and inexpensive. Everything is very fresh. I always like going to a Chinese restaurant where most of the people are speaking Chinese. They would not be there if the food was not good. Thank you Unilocal.Would not have found this place without your help since I am not familiar with the neighborhood.

I live near Flushing Queens where there are tons of authentic and good Chinese restaurants, so I know what I am talking about. This place gives you the best value for your dollar. Food is excellent, service is excellent, price is excellent. You’ve got to try this place!

I come here for their authentic Cantonese cooking. The triple meat(duck, chicken, and bbq pork) for the awesome price of $ 5.50 can’t be beat.

Consistently great roast pig and duck. Remember there is a difference between roast pig and roast pork. Roast pig is the one with the crunchy skin. Roast pork is the reddish pinkish marinated pork.

I have become addicted to this place. Ever since having it or the first time 3 weeks ago I can’t get myself to go to any where else. I also can’t eat typical Chinese take-out anymore. I need to go earlier because they run out of pig/duck when it gets late. 1 thing I wish was that they delivered. Last night I had the scallops in black pepper sauce. They were perfect!

I came here for a family dinner and it was pretty good. The restaurant was full by the time we got there so the owner suggested that we can go next door to the bakery and they will set up tables there for us since they owned the bakery also. We didn’t want to wait so we agreed to go next door. Their food was delicious but their service was a bit slow. We had to ask for water and cups several times before they gave it to us. But I will come back and hopefully the service would be better the next time.

The roast duck pork chicken anything up front is delicious. Cha siew is the way to go. Not sure if they sell the yellow orange giant squid but that’s great too. Anything chopped up. Be sure to have extra soy sauce and scallion and ginger sauce! As for the other stuff, I wouldn’t really eat here. I’ve had the hot and sour soup and it’s weird stuff, nothing like the cheap ones at smaller Chinese restaurants that I enjoy more. Did I mention this place is really tiny? And usually empty. You can see why.
