The actual salon has a lot of stylists (and clients as well) and it’s not modern inside like some other salons. However, my stylist Rasheda was wonderful and I highly recommend her.

Honestly, I am not really writing this review SOLELY for the salon. because if I did the salon itself would probably get a 2, I am writing it for the phenomenal hair stylist that is Rasheeda. So I will take off one star for the salon itself. Its Brooklyn, its Flatbush… The salon is huge, one of the hugest I have seen. There is a lot going on int he salon at once, lots of hair dressers, customers, lots of yelling, and the salon itself doesnt seem to be updated but it is CLEAN (which is a must in my book). I think if the owner of this salon invested a few bucks here it would be a lovely salon. Just understand, that with the amount of people that work and go to this salon, it is in no way peaceful. Ladies, I know sometiems when we get our hair done we want a relaxing experience… you will not experience this here, but you will be entertained! Its nice that it is not too far from the train station.
NOW to Rasheeda, Rasheeda has to be ONE of my top three hair stylists in NY… she is kind, sweet, acessible and HONEST. She does not jump up and down with prices and is realistic about what can be done. I went in their for some weave maintenance and she worked miracles… the person who originally installed did not do a good job (oh hell, they did a bad weave). She washed, conditioned, snipped and turned my hair into new! I loooooved the finished product… inf act everywhere I went I kept on getting compliments. Now, Rasheeda is a bit far from me in Jamaica… and I do not get weaves very often, but I think I will have to continue to visit her in the future.
